Had an integrated 4 x 4 wheel hub vacuum issue on on four driver side. It started with a high pitch when I got it back. It started with a massive grinding, and it did not quit. I was left without 4 x 4 for a half a year and they use zip ties to disengage it and keep it out-of-the-way instead of having the problem fixed the whole month they had it (x''s 4 months) The effort seems there by the front office, but I gave my truck to them for a month 4 different times, (having it 4 to 5 weeks time) and they still couldn't fix what I relayed what the ford shop told me to take care of. They sold me something I didn't need, when I told him that wasn't the problem that Ford was telling me to take care of, every time I got it back the issue was never fixed. The frustration of these guys having my vehicle for a months time and still not fixing a vacuum leak on one side of my four-wheel-drive integrated hub is extremely aggravating. They violated my breathalyzer costing me over $200 with multiple trips driving mechanics around managers around without a fillup. I turn my vehicle in clean with the promised it being out of the elements and I get it back like the Sahara sands on vehicle and they offer me a card to the car wash down the street... unreal, that should've been taken care of by them. The district Superman that came in with the Cape basically slapped me in the face and told me I can take care of all the other expenses since he's not giving me a bill. We wouldn't have had the problems that we had if they would've just listened to what I told them to take care of. Will not return, be careful.

A lot of times as a younger woman I tend to run into car shops that are trying to sell me things I don't need. I enjoyed my experience at BG because I could tell they were honest, thorough, and kind. As someone who also has lots of car anxiety they were very reassuring that my car was in great shape. I will be going here for all my car needs in the future.

From the moment I called Schmer's Towing to ask about my car, the on-call (Sam) was understanding and informative, explaining the entire process to me and answering all of my questions patiently. Despite my embarrassment and frustration, she went above and beyond to ensure that the process was as smooth and stress-free as possible. Since I was from outside the state, Sam took particular care to text me directions to their location and give me a timeframe of when to arrive so I wouldn't waste any time waiting. Throughout the entire process, Schmer's Towing staff maintained a high level of professionalism and courtesy, which really helped to put my mind at ease during such a stressful time. My $300,000 high end super car broke down on college Ave last weekend and needed a tow to a local…read morehigh performance shop about 10 minutes from the spot it broke down. After going the wrong way 3 times and having to borderline stand on college Ave waving, he finally found the Wide open street where my car was sitting. This is when things went bad fast. When he got out of the tow truck he didn't ask where he could hook it up to, ( I had told him on the phone my front axle had snapped and he could not hook onto that to tow it onto the truck) he walked past me without saying a word, backed the truck up about an inch from hitting my front bumper and proceeded to try and hook it up directly to my obviously broken axle. After telling him he cannot do that, he proceeded to get in my face and tell me I don't know sh*t about my own car (yanno, the one I've spent 2 years/200k building) and demanded my key to which I replied "No" because the snapped axel had damaged my engine which could not be turned on or more damage would occur. I then tried to explain to him that I will be turning the car "on" the correct way to put it into neutral without actually starting the engine, he then tried to grab my key out of my hand and get in the car himself, to which I said "excuse me?" And he replied "I know these cars better than you", I replied "no, you do not, now please step aside so I can put it in neutral" he aggressively slammed the door shut and stood about 2 inches from my face glaring at me, I then laughed as this intimidation factor would likely work on the average person, but not a trained professional MMA fighter :) After he finally managed to get it on the truck, he drove off without even asking where to drop it off, so he called me about 2 minutes into us following the truck and demanded the address, which I replied with. He chose to park it in the snow and mud in a back lot as far from the shop as he could, left my key sitting on the hood and drove off. Whoever this driver is, he has a dog and a horrible attitude, completely and total lack of basic communication skills and probably a meth addiction. -10/10 this company may not be bad but boy that driver was a nightmare and a half. Import towing towed my son's car from a parking lot he has always parked which just recently…read morechanged their parking parameters and the sign noting this was hidden behind a tree which he did not see. While its completely understandable things happen part of life, what's not understandable was the way he was treated by both the person towing the car (he did talk to tow driver and was actually leaving right when they were towing the car) and the yard when he went to pick it up. Both employees were unbelievably rude and unprofessional when dealing with him while he tried to remain calm. Maybe these guys are used to dealing with obnoxious college kids being a college town and all but that's not fair treat all people based on a bias. My son comes from a family who owns several auto shops and knows how to handle himself with grace and respect and it would have been nice if the guys at import towing showed the same curtesy. Also, the price of the tow and to impound his car seemed very high and to get it back 8 hours earlier for $140 more seems ridiculous. Maybe they think they are teaching these kids a lesson but really all they are doing is teaching them to not be respectful and understanding in a tuff situation. Its' not hard to be a nice person it actually takes much more effort to be an A** Hole.
