Cashier was unprofessional and basically squeezed my 5 sweaters into a tiny bag. I'd rather shop at the one in Dedham.

Ahhh! Uniqlo has arrived at SSP Braintree. What did we do to deserve this? Uniqlo is a Japanese…read morebrand that offers quality, minimalist apparel. Perfect place to go for every day basics. Material used is always extremely comfortable. Everything here can be dressed up or dressed down, your choice. I have found many lovely dresses here, on sale, too! Reasonably priced & worth every penny. Their graphic tees are also pretty cool. Every time I enter a Uniqlo, I just wanna buy every single one hahaha. Uniqlo was definitely needed at SSP. Over the last few years, the mall has been going downhill and not many shops here that have actually good quality clothing. So it was for sure an UP & has convinced me to go to the mall more often. Must visit if you're shopping around in the mall.

Super glad Uniqlo finally opened in SSP!! I've always been a fan of their lounge shorts (draw…read morestring) light and comfy. The pricing when there are sales is great i own quite a few. Now i do wish they would have shorter inseam lengths for my current taste in shorts but that's nothing a bit of thread and sewing machine can't handle! Their air t shirts are light sweat wicking and comfy to wear all day, now i personally like a bit more neck room at the color of their crews so i opt for the v-neck designs. Usually have good neutral colors to match your fit. The lady was also able to get a dress and skirt type joint and it looks great on her. The whole family likes Uniqlo really. They usually have good collaborations with pokemon, hype anime's etc and occasionally one of those items would peak my interest. All in all a welcome edition to SSP that was seemingly dying last few years like many places but seems like life has been re-injected into the mall

I miss when the Newbury Comics was by the Sears & had two floors. It's been a while since they…read moremoved from that location to the other side of the mall by the Target escalators and Lego store. Much smaller now, BUT much more organized and easy to find stuff. I have been on the hunt for sonny angel hippers and was elated to find them here yesterday! They are behind the counter at check out for $20/each, limit 4 per person. I originally decided to just buy two and we opened the blind boxes in the car. I was hoping to get a pink one, however, unfortunately did not hit. Now, it is 6 min before closing and we figured, what the heck? Why not go back to get two more hahaha. So, we rushed back into the mall (special thanks to the workers for letting us pick up two more, last min before close!) and bought two more. Anyways, I ended up getting one pink one and a blue mouse this time around! Total for 4 was ~$84. I love what I ended up getting though! Definitely a sucker for blind boxes from time to time, but it's so fun ;)

Since moving to the other side of the mall, the store has gotten more organized and feels refreshed…read moreeven though it's smaller. They have whole racks of manga books, pop funko bobbles (some exclusives etc) and a glass case of chase pops (not retail pricing) They have hobby merch, accessories, tee shirts, music, tidbits all about. Glad they still surviving and offering products to the south shore! The store employees are attentive if you need help, they folks i used to know there have since moved on but looks like the store is run well still!

If on a budget and need some back to school or general clothing it'll do it's job, but now a days…read morethe prices of everything has gone up and the quality seems to have been left in the past. Not just here but many places. times can be tough. Usually i like to pop in for some plain tees from time to time and some sweaters or joggers. But i noticed after the first wash they usually shrink on me a good amount even following the laundry care instructions. The pants watch what you're buying, a lot of the pants don't have zippers but rather buttons (big no thanks for me). The sizing is a bit on the snugger size so i would size up if you're a larger person. I have a handful of tees that after a few washes developed tears or holes. So for me, I've stopped shopping here in general, but their hoodies have held up pretty well.

I visited the store today and had a very disappointing experience at checkout. Multiple employees…read morewere standing at the registers on their phones, including one employee who appeared to be on FaceTime while customers waited in line. No one greeted customers, explained which registers were open, or acknowledged anyone waiting. To make matters worse, after I had already completed my shopping, I was told the store had run out of bags and asked if I wanted to purchase a $3 reusable bag for my items. Customers should be informed about that before they begin shopping, not at checkout after spending money and waiting in line. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.
