Having just left the Superdry shop and wandered into Old Navy, there is a definite step down. Prices in Old Navy are way lower and I think the clothing is perhaps set for a different demographic. Growing up in Las Vegas, my BFF and I had big dreams. One of them was especially major: that our neon-tinted town would get an Old Navy. Until the 702 finally got one, sometime later in high school, we'd have to wait for trips to LA to browse the well-priced duds at the Gap's younger, cheaper cousin. In need of a long cardigan in a hurry recently, I popped into this CambridgeSide Old Navy hoping it would appear. Thankfully, it did, and I ended up snagging two: one in navy and the other in light heather gray. Expect the usual chaos of too tightly stocked racks and overflowing tables that you've come to expect at the ON. I love this store because it offers so many great deals on casual clothing. One small issue is that they don't always have all the sizes you need, especially for jeans. But that's simply because this store gets so much traffic. Today, I felt compelled to write this review for this Old Navy store because I was looking at the premium jeans that were on sale for 30% off. But the cash register wasn't marking off the discount. None of the employees wanted to honor the discount for me, saying that it would give them a "red flag" on their employee account. The store manager wasn't even there. However, a young employee named "Abdi" came to my rescue. He personally checked the jeans section, confirmed that the 30% deal was correct, and took the "red flag" to give me the discount. He also gave me some great tips on how to find the best deals and also which shirts he preferred the quality of. I'll definitely be coming back to this store soon. read more

Very well organized store and easy to navigate. The fitting room attendant was very upbeat and friendly when I went in to try on a couple of items that I was looking at. I noticed that up near the registers they carry some Elf beauty products which is cool. They had some good deals going on and that made it even more fun to shop. read more

This weekend while shopping at the Galleria Mall we decided to stop in at Old Navy to grab some clothes as well as some sandals. The store itself was larger than some other locations I have been to, but overall the store was unorganized and a hot mess in many sections. When we went to look at their women's shoe section we were overwhelmed by the mess and actually had difficulty walking through the section. This wasbecause all the shows were strewn across the floor. The experience was similar with their accessories but they men's clothing section was pretty well organized. In the end we didn't find what we were looking for here and actually walked out empty handed because the place was too much of a mess. We would come back in the future but hope that they get a bit more organized so that our experience will be a bit better. read more

This Old Navy saved my neck and that's the only reason I'm rating it. I had a last minute job interview, was pretty broke, and had NOTHING TO WEAR... a girls worst nightmare! I ran here and found the perfect outfit! A cute pencil skirt, knitted short sleeve sweater, and white cami! While looking I also noticed that they had a larger selection than the Old Navy near my house. They had my size and a ton of every size in the clothes I wanted... which most of the time doesn't happen and I have to settle for something I'm not so in love with. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be on a Sunday afternoon and I was in and out pretty quickly. I think I like this store, it's growing on me. In the past year it's a place that I go to get last minute clothes for myself, or for stocking stuffers for my sisters. I recently fell in love with their long underwear or leggings- not sure the proper terminology - they are cotton, nothin fancy, came in a few colors. Light and thin enough to wear comfortably under pants. Only $5 each. I am probably going back for more soon - though I have almost every color as is! I'm a fan of the clearance section, cause it's usually a pretty large selection - but most of the things don't come in my size, that's right. I DO mean "large" also if you are extra grande size, you'll find some nice cheap shirts in the ladies clearance section! The employees have been much nicer lately. They have been actually downright funny and helpful this past (2010) Christmas season! Kudos Old Navy, for finding these new friendly employees! I like to get these things here: - Stupidly cheap flip-flops in many colors, that way when my friend's dog devours a pair, or a single flippy, it's not the end of the world! - I've bought two really nice three quarter sleeve jackets from Old Navy in the past two years. - Long sleeved cotton waffle tees for my bf and his brother. - Depending on the cut, I like some of the wife beaters/ tanks that they make. - Ugly, or funny PJ pants for my father, as is tradition for Christmas The pants don't fit me here! This Old Navy impresses me with its staff. I make some major purchases there and I seem to always get Vladmir the cashier when I'm ready to pay up. I spent years in retail and can really appreciate good customer service. Vladmir is bar none the coolest, most professional and pleasant to deal with cashier I've dealt with in a very long time and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! If you're in his queue, consider yourself in luck. I like to remind him that "There's life after retail!" and he seems to get a kick out of that. He might very well be humoring me, but if he is , he does a great job at that as well. Sometimes one person can really make or break a shopping experience and this is a really good example. read more

Their clothes are not too bad...they sell a lot of tunic tops that i like. They have a good selection of kids clothes as well. Their men's selection is very casual...more jeans, khaki's ,tshirts. Overall not a bad store to get a lot of casual clothes. read more

before today, i would've given old navy 4, maybe 5 stars. but friends, that was before my trip today revealed that they have begun organizing their sale section in a way that makes me want to claw my own eyes out: "ALL SIZES" if you have ever been to an old navy in your lifetime, you know that the sale section is already usually a disaster to begin with, simply because they have such a high volume. but i'm cool with picking through assorted clothing - with swimsuits next to pajamas next to jeans next to button-down shirts - as long as they're all in my size. but this is ridiculous! next thing you know, they'll just throw all their sale merchandise in cardboard boxes like the old filene's basement. ugh! read more

Located on the second floor of the Galleria. The store itself is large compared to other stores in the mall. The staff is friendly and helpful, though not as cordial on the phone. When I called to check if they had an item in stock, someone picked up but didn't say anything and I had to initiate the conversation by asking if I was calling Old Navy. However, when I asked for them to check for an item, they did it promptly and did hold it for me like I asked. read more

This Old Navy isn't the best one out there, but it isn't the worst either. Don't expect someone to help you on the sales floor, a quick checkout or much of anything in the fitting room. Just a quick review: I absolutely loved this Old Navy. It was huge compared to the usual one I go to, and had some great sales going on. The selection was fantastic, and I felt like I got some great buys. Like all Old Navy stores, the line took forever though. Our cashier was super nice and didn't try to get me to sign up for a credit card- first time ever in an Old Navy that I wasn't asked to get one! Love it! The store appears to be going through renovations right now, so everything looks pretty discombobulated. But that's not the real problem. The service and lack of knowledge/training/support of the employees was shocking. When I went to return an item, the poor teenager had no idea what he was doing. I don't blame him as much as I do the obvious lack of training. He stared at his screen and after awhile asked me: "What is an invoice?" I tried my best to help him, but I can't see the screen. He then proceeded to ask surrounding cashiers for help; most whom appeared apathetic and unconcerned by his confusion, as they tossed out inadequate answers. Finally, after seeking out more help, a woman came over and helped him through some of the process. However, he kept entering the numbers incorrectly and she had to ask him to restart 3 times. At the end, he went to print the receipt and the paper got jammed. He said he had no idea how to fix it. By this time, the woman who was helping had already left. It became so ridiculous, I really just wanted to laugh. Old Navy, please please provide your staff with adequate training and support before putting them on the floor. read more

Most of my clothes is from Old Navy, which I don't know if that is sad or not. But anyways, this particular Old Navy is pretty good. Being in a mall it can get crowded quickly thus making the dressing room lines long. At times the store is messy but most Old Navy's are (or at least from my experience). I usually have no trouble finding my size and in the color I want. Speaking of color Old Navy usually has the same item in tons of colors. I have never really needed help from the staff but if I were it looks like it'd be a hit or miss. Some of the people working there are really nice and willing to help while others look bored to tears. read more
