Nick eventually agreed to refund $233 of the original $283, minus $50 for the diagnostics they performed. The thing is, rather than refund the credit card I paid with, they wrote a check which I must pick up. I live a half hour away. Nick, I contacted the NYS Department of Consumer Protection about this. Additionally, the charging station for my 2nd automower was rewired incorrectly by Nick's. That automower is now at Husqvarna for repair. I expect I will need to take Nick to small claims court for compensation.

When I call Eastern Plumbing, the owner answered my call, and even though the house is technically just outside the area that his company services, he said he would try to make it work. I didn't have any pictures to send him, so he had one of his employees swing by the house to take pictures of the driveway and the sidewalks so that he could give me a quote. After someone took the pictures, he immediately sent me a text to let me know that he was willing to send someone to plow and shovel at the house whenever it snowed. He then emailed me a quote as soon as he returned to his office, and he called me right after he sent the quote to see if I had any questions or any additional requests that were not included in the quote. He was extremely nice and very professional. My parents ended up having more questions a couple of times, and every time a called him he answered my calls, and he was quick at responding to my texts and emails as well. If he says that he will do a job, he makes sure that his company gets the job done. The quality of the work is great, and the customer service is outstanding. He communicates directly with my mother now, and she is very happy. He sends someone out automatically after a big storm, and when the amount of snow that towns and counties in this area varies from a lot to almost none, he reaches out to her to see how much snow they got. If the amount of snow it isn't a lot, he still asks if she wants him to send someone over. I'm very happy to know that they have a company they can rely on when it snows. The owner is extremely hands on, and he has been easy to get in touch with since day one. (It's so nice to not have to wait around for someone to get back to you!)
