Cute and fashionable clothes at affordable prices! I bought an adorable pineapple printed dress for only $5! The store is very nice -- 2 floors! The first floor is the women's and 2nd floor is the men's! Parking tip: There's parking in Waikiki Business Plaza (where H&M is located) as well as next door at the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. They give free validation for both places with purchase for 3 hours. Now if only Zara and Uniqlo could come to Hawaii pretty please my life will be complete. I love baby Jesus and the Easter Bunny! This brand-spankin' new H&M has created a lot of hype these past few months. It came up pretty quickly and has finally opened if large glass doors to the big, bright and beautiful interior, complete with icy cold air conditioning. It's located centrally in Waikiki, across from the Royal Hawaiian Center, you definitely can't miss it. Shopping along Kalakaua is serious business, mostly because I'm usually dying from the heat outside and need an excuse to get out of the heat. I've been to a few H & Ms on the mainland as well as internationally. This location meets the standards in terms of organization, look and cleanliness. There were plenty of sales associates walking around, actually helping customers with selecting patterns and completing looks. There was even an older guy who stands at the front to open the doors when you walk in. The clothing itself is cute, casual and trendy. It is also pretty inexpensive. There are usually a few sales items as well, so that's always a plus. There are cheaper places to shop out there, but I think H & M quality is pretty good for the price. All the clothes are made in developing countries (Indonesia, China, etc.), if you care. I like the addition of H & M in Waikiki, it's definitely contributing to Waikiki's "new look". read more

Thank you H&M for all my last minute shopping! I come here for work, casual, and travel attire. Their material, even the footwear are great for the price. There's always a sale in here or cheap finds that catch my attention. Parking is located in the structure, but I like to park at Royal Hawaiian Center; After my shopping around the area, I eat somewhere in the center over $10 and parking is $2.00! Their service could be better but then again, I don't like to be bothered when I'm shopping. But I love the cleanliness of everything. Nothing is ever on the floor, the racks are nicely made, and it's easy to get around. I highly recommend H&M for most of my clothing. I'll give it the five stars regardless, because at a Grand Opening as huge as this...a lot of things are expected to happen!! Good and bad. HOW Did I prepare for this? 1. I wasn't even planning on going! Luckily we finally decided last night, to JUST GO. 2. PACKED food, and prepared ourselves for the long line. 3. Restroom, we went to the bathroom BEFORE we ended up in the line..think about it..8am, and the store doesnt open to NOON? GOOD LUCK holding that bladder. We arrived at 8am, and we came just in time!! We were scared to be the 501st/502nd person IN LINE to receive to good stuff being given out. That wasn't the case. *happy dance* A lot of people started to arrive and was it worth the wait? yes! We kept positive and happy regardless how exhausted we truly were. They handed out water and pop up donuts, and good filled tote bags and umbrellas?! Heeeeey. While we were in line, we were good the whole time, I mean I wish they had the huge microphone at least to tell everyone to rules because not everyone will be to able to hear the rules. Rules as told to us while in line, by 10AM EVERYONE IN OUR GROUP NEEDS TO BE present, otherwise they will have to be sent in the back of the line. SO, as long as someone holds your spot for you and it's okay with the other people in line with you, you can can use the restroom and still be back by 10Am. I feel really sad that I believe some customers did not receive such news or they did know and still weren't able to hold that spot for that person. I honestly enjoyed myself because I had my friend to make it feel enjoyable, I mean of course it was difficult to shop because of the hundreds of people!! I mean, I got a good enough look at the certain selections that I wanted. I was even MORE thrilled to know they have PLUS size! (14-24) their selection for that wasn't great yet, so I'm sure in the near future it will get better. I also loved the 2nd floor that is meant entirely for Men!! This is my husband's favorite store, and knowing there's a whole floor for him?! (Finally!!) It was so much more better than forever21's selection, hands down. I was also happy with the fact that their sale was really great, but only because its on the items I wanted, like the jewelry. It ranged from $1-$3 for the sale even if it was select items, it was worth buying. I can't wait to come back but I'd rather wait a few weeks and let the crowd die down, I'm just proud to be one of the first 500 customers for the Grand Opening, and I never thought I would experience something as great as this especially since it's my favorite store from the mainland!! read more

Love their clothes and very affordable. There is a greeter at the main entrance which is very inviting and nice. The clothes look very expensive but not at all!! I can always find an outfit whenever I come here. The only down part is I can never find my shoe size. They have pretty shoes but everytime I come here and see a super sexy shoes, it's never in my size. I'm a size 6 and that size is always 99.9% sold out. They have every fashion wear here. Evening, outdoor wear, beach wear, casual wear, lingerie, shoes, etc. staff are so attentive and helpful. They also have $9.00 jeans!!! Yippie!! Hmmmmm.. Every time I visit the mainland, H&M is one of my must-go to spots. I was uber excited when they announced that they were FINALLY opening one in Hawaii. Woop Woop! I imagined the store to be a lot larger. I was a bit disappointed on the size. The whole first floor is all women's clothes and the second floor is all men's clothes. Unfortunately I don't think this season is much my taste. I surprisingly ended up buying nothing this visit. read more

FREE STUFF??? Yay! My friends and I got in line around 9:30 am for the grand opening of H&M at the Waikiki Business Plaza. We were enticed by the offer of a scratch card that could potentially hold up to $500 to spend at the store that day. I won $10. They also passed out tote bags with random goods in it, like a mesh bag, a t-shirt, a magazine and some pretty swag sunglasses. (Just kidding, those sunglasses were ugly as hell. Refer to my picture.) The service was pretty on top of it. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helped me out despite the commotion. While I was trying clothes on in the dressing room, I asked a worker to grab another size for me. And she did, graciously, without any hesitation. I was pleasantly surprised by their happy attitudes despite the growing line and the mass of waiting people. The store seemed organized. There were two floors; the bottom held women's wear and the top held men's wear. I snagged a cute dress for $5 and a button up top for $7. I even bought three pairs of men's shorts for $10 a pop. I was pleased. Although I have to admit I'm not too sure what the prices are going to look like after their grand opening sale. I'm docking off a star because I was hoping for more selection. The store seemed big on the outside, but they only had one floor for ladies wear. I've visited other H&M locations on the mainland, and those seem to have way more selection. I'm not too sure where to park. I parked at Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and walked over. I ended up paying $15 for parking after validation. My wallet is not happy with parking, but it is content with the deals I snagged at opening day. read more

This location is huge! They have a large inventory of clothing and accessories that's conveniently located a few blocks from the beach. The layout is a little weird as space is limited in Waikiki but the fitting room is comfortable as it has lounge stools! I waited for my wife who purchased a few items and I wasn't in a rush to leave as the AC was on full blast and I was comfortable. The associates are helpful and friendly. Drove all the way to Waikiki on a Saturday night to experience H&M because of all the hype I've been reading in the newspaper and online. It was crowded and I couldn't distinguish the staff from the crowd...unless staff were mature (which means "old"!) like me! The offerings are generic, nothing that popped out or was significantly different or noticeable. It was also significant that there was a marked lack of color, with most things in black, blue, beige, or white. I would imagine in Hawaii that their offerings would feature more color due to our locale. It is definitely a store for the younger crowd (15 - 30), not for the mature shopper. I may try again in a few months after the crowds disperse and the frenzy dies down! read more

This H&M location was ok, I loved the Vegas one much more! No one greeted us, the sales floor reps were too busy chatting with each other to notice us and we weren't asked if we needed help or assistance, not a friendly vibe to the place. The fashion is weird I rather stick with Love Couture or Forever 21 :) I did see a few dresses that I liked but if we were treated like customers from the get go and not invisible nobodies I probably would have purchased some dresses. Anyways, I'm reviewing this place based on my visits to the store. Ever walk into a store and no sales associate greets, or if asked to help they tell you they're too busy?? Well come right on in and I bet you'll hear all that and nothing! The line usually goes fast, unless they're short staffed and only have two people ringing a longggggg line. Then you see people fall out of line and leave their stuff; gives you some hope on making it out alive with your purchases. Lol. Some nights there's a DJ inside playing by the front doors and most times he's there, he's not the greatest. read more

We decided to go into this H & M because we felt a couple of rain drops. We wanted to buy an umbrella. Unfortunately, they were sold out. I like the styles here. I haven't seen these styles back in the mainland. I love the light materials for blouses and the light and patterned dresses. I see many print pants for this season. They look really pretty. This store sells some dresses made from heavier materials such as wool mixed with cotton. Not that Hawaii needs heavier clothing but at times, you can feel the cool weather during the night. We didn't buy the umbrella. However, I got to see some styles influenced by the Asiatic culture. This store sells some pretty patterned pants and tops. Wanted to snag some shirts for myself today as I underpacked, as always. Ran into H&M on Christmas Day and the music was so loud I could barely think. I was trying hard to locate clothing in my size in their basics section and couldn't figure it out because of the music. I had to leave the store another handed because of the music. I'm old, but not that old. Music should be tastefully loud not club loud- meaning it's ok if you can't talk to your bestie across the room, but you should be able to figure out sizing and pricing and groove to the music while shopping. I like H&M but I'll go to the other shops like Urban Outfitters and spend a little more to shop. read more

Finally its here! I found some cute tops but walked out empty handed because the line was so long. As expected since its grand opening weekend. Its okay since I'm coming back after the crowd has settled down a bit. As someone mentioned earlier its hard to distinguish the staff from a regular consumer since they were dressed in all black with t-shirts that had a tiny print that had staff on it. I actually mistook a customer for an employee (lol). Prices are reasonable but was a l was a little disappointed as they had a lot of long sleeve tops as I was hoping for more spring tops and colors. Hopefully they'll get some soon. Their swimwear line was a small section and they also had a undergarments section. Unfortunately I didn't see the men's section since my hubby and kids were waiting patiently outside so I ended my adventure. Still, it's a great store and can't wait to shop in full force. read more

I love H&M. I was so happy to hear they've come to Hawaii. This is a great place to find basic inexpensive items. There is a sign on the door to text your email address to a certain number and u get 20% off one item (if you are not already on their mailing list). There is a live dj spinning in the store. Makes it feel very upbeat like a club. Lol. There are 2 floors. Top floor is for men. Here's the deal on the parking. If u park in their structure which is for the Top of Waikiki restaurant it costs $2.50/30 minutes. So it cost me $7.50 to shop there on Saturday evening. They do not validate anymore but if you didn't read the reviews or tips on here once you drive up the ramp you see the sign it's kinda too late. I would suggest using a cheaper parking structure. I believe there is one a little bit more down for Ross shoppers. There's a also a Local Fever store right between H&M and Ross. Great for bargain shoppers like me! None the less it was a great experience and I got some deals. The sales people weren't overly friendly but that would annoy me anyways so all in all I'd definitely come back here again read more

Our ( my sister and bestie sissy) H&M shopping trip began at Midnight the day of the opening. Days before we had planned that I would drop off my sister and bestie and come back at 6:00 am as Waikiki parking is pricey and the Waikiki Business Plaza lot closes at midnight with no overnight parking. When I dropped my sissy and sister off at midnight, there was NO one there! VERY surprised as we had anticipated a line already formed. Came back at 1:00 am and parked at the old Waikiki theater (now Ross) parking structure. The sign said the max was $9 for 10 hours paid in advance. Not bad for Waikiki and I would not have to worry about moving the car until 11 am. At the parking kiosk, found out I could add hours in 10 hr increments. Even better as I would not have to move the car at all. Waiting for the opening time went smoothly for us. Karen, who was in charge of security, explained the rules of no saving places after 10 and letting the people near you know if you are going to leave and come back. At 10 they started handing out umbrellas, mini donuts and tiny bottle waters, and the limited tote bags. Scratch cards were handed out. Each one worth between $10-$500. At noon, they began letting people enter in groups. There were a lot of nice items at excellent prices ($5 tops, $7 dresses, etc..) but the sizes were not there. Size 4-8 were hard to come by. There is also only 1 dressing room area for women so it took awhile. I deducted a star because the employees were not prepared for an emergency. When in line to pay, the woman in front of me fainted and had a seizure. An employee began asking if anyone in line had a cell to call 911. There was a phone at the register! read more

H&M Heart of Waikiki has a great new store. The place is wonderful - if a little small, which is understandable for rent prices in Waikiki. The whole store is well lit and has a great sound system with not over the top techno music but great music to dance and listen to if you were bored waiting for a significant other to try on clothes. Here is my shout outs to H+M. They have a great music t shirt collection. It may not be all over the store but; where else am I going to find the Ramones or Iron Maiden clothing to fit me? I got to hand it to them that the clothes do make a person and music is right up there in their lane to make an impression on people positively! I'm impressed with the selection.... I know it is geared towards the trendy millennial but it was a great selection every time I have gone there. Button up shirts for men, jeans, better than t-shirts. A great selection. Today was my shopping day, to find some business casual clothes. Everything was great in the beginning - there was a huge selection of styles, from basics to intimates, and stylish to business casual. The first floor is for women and the second floor is dedicated to men. I found a few pieces that I liked and headed to the register. I was so stoked because there was a blazer priced at $35 under a $19.99 rack. There were a few of them there, so obviously it wasn't just one that someone happened to put back there. Anyway, I got to the register, when my sales associate Robert took my clothes, without even a smile or a greeting. I noticed that the price of the blazer was the original $35, and I promptly told him about the discrepancy. With the sassiest tone, he responded that I was wrong. Wow. He then told me to show him where I found it, so we walked over to the front of the store. He laughed and said it was under the sign, but it wasn't part of the promotion, and that only some of the items are on sale. Uh. Okay. I didn't need that blazer if it wasn't on sale. And when I told him this, he sighed. in my face. the whole time he was ringing me up, all he did was sigh and look like he wanted to kill himself. I showed him my 15% off coupon, and again, he looked at me like I was destroying all happiness in his life. I left the store with such a bad taste in my mouth, I actually went back about two hours after, and returned half the stuff I got. Tips! Just like everyone else, I was super excited to hear that H&M would be opening in Waikiki. Sadly, I went on opening day right after work and I totally regret it. I was amazed to see the store packed with people and there was even a line to get in....seriously? I couldn't believe that I waited in that line and THEN once I actually got into the store, there was another long line to pay/check out. SIGH. So, I waited till the hype died down and finally came back a couple of times. At first, I was browsing through the selections they had..walking slowly in and out of aisles, but couldn't really find anything to my liking. Their prices were expected for a store in Waikiki, and if you're lucky.. sometimes you find clothing on sale or the ones marked down for whatever reason. I remember my first purchase here took about 5 visits..but that's cause I'm super picky and H&M really doesn't have the type of clothing I'm looking for. They do have more of a variety in business wear though. Also, I asked some friends which do they prefer: H&M or F21, and to my surprise...all of them said H&M. What? I prefer F21 and will be shopping there more. I would come to H&M maybe if I needed more work clothes, but for more casual stuff - F21. read more

I'm at the point now where I must be more congnizant of my age, especially when it comes to clothes. While I appreciate a good bargain, I have to consider quality, fit, and agw appropriateness. Sadly, H&M does quite fit the bill for age appropriateness for me. However, it's perfect for teens and those in their 20s. The clothes are budget-friendly and pretty well made. The Waikiki H&M store has ladies, men, and kids clothing. This is a great place to buy clothes for kids, especially for back to school shopping. They also have super cute accessories and shoes. I consider the quality of clothes at H&M to be better than Forever21. I find Forever21 clothes in general to be poorly made and the store extremely unkept and messy. Messy racks make me turn around and walk out the store. H&M on the other hand was better kept. The styles are super cute, but the short skirts and see-through blouses are not work appropriate for my job. The summer tops were cute, but I don't know if I could pull it off. H&M is located in the Waikiki Business Plaza right on Kalakaua Ave., so the place is usually busy. Parking in located at the Waikiki Business Plaza or Waikiki Shopping Plaza next door. It's a must-see when you are in Waikiki, but I'm just going to stick to Macy's at Ala Moana Center. read more

I took my girl friend their to buy work clothes for her upcoming meeting on the mainland. The worker who "helped" us was Kevin. I use that term very loosely because he did nothing. I told him we were looking for clothes for my friend and where she was going and what size she is. He said he would help and scampered off. I find him in the same section with clothes that kind of resemble work clothes but not the right size. When I asked him about it he was like "I'm not helping you girls. Figure it out." I was amazed. The selection here is good and the quality of the clothes exceeds similar stores. I especially like the fit of their jeans and joggers.Nice contemporary styles as well. Guys rejoice! Finally there is a place we can buy clothes that are of semi-decent quality yet doesn't break the bank. The surprising part is that it took way too long for H&M to get to Hawaii. Some cities have 3 of them in close proximity. First of all, parking. Three hours free with purchase. Hook a left from Kalakaua Avenue to Seaside. First parking structure to the right. There are two stories on this shop. Bottom is for females and top is for males. I never looked at the bottom so I can't help here, but I've shopped the top. Walk up the glass staircase and viola, men's section. There isn't a total separation of types of clothing there. The area closer to the stairs seem to be the more formal and progressively gets less and less formal towards the back. The selection - I personally don't like H&M's selection. Most of their clothes really don't completely appeal to me. What H&M is good for is cheap formal wear. Decent but cheap. Their OCBD(oxford cotton button down) shirts aren't that good compared to brands that are slightly more expensive. Most pants there do not have inseam sizes. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't get pants/chinos there but rather take the chance and order online for some Dockers Alpha or something better quality and fit. I would say that about 5 items really caught my eye. The fit - This is a tricky thing, especially for us local guys. Expect European or Asian fit. Size smaller than competitors like Express and GAP. Slightly smaller but perhaps not noticeable than J Crew. Pants expect a full size up as the legs in even non slim cuts to be tight. Shirts easily full size up and may not fit too nicely because you're making that jump. Disappointed that most of their cheaper pants selection is mostly cargo pants. Who still wears cargo pants nowadays? The price - If you do actually fit well into these clothes, consider yourself lucky. This is where H&M is so popular with those who do. Clothes here regularly are already cheap, but sometimes they are on special. Red circle stickers with the new prices denotes if something is on special. I bought a button down shirt to try(full size up fit well for me) and it was on sale. For the longest time, I wanted to try their woven boxers so I picked that up also. Unbeknownst to me, there was a special running. I got my button down shirt for $15 as tagged but my boxers were half off. Nowhere showed that, but it was a nice thing. I rather have them announce it with signs at least though. Fitting room girl was nice but most other workers are quiet. Acknowledgement is good but at least they let me shop in peace. Having H&M here finally is a good thing. At least for me, I know how their fit is really like and can buy accordingly. read more

I love shopping as much as any other girl, but I also hate parking in Waikiki as much as anyone that lives here. So whenever something opens in Waikiki, I don't want to spend equal amounts of cash on parking a car and buying that cute dress. With that being said, I'm on the fence about their parking situation because it's free parking for 3 hours with purchase. I really don't need the extra incentive to spend money... But on to the actual store, it is pretty spacious and organized. I accidentally went on a good holiday weekend and they have really great sales! Their clothes are cute and cheap, though it is rather on the thin side. We're in Hawaii anyways, so it's not like we'll freeze because of it but their clothing doesn't seem as though it's meant to be long lasting, unfortunately. I'm sure there was a good mix of clothes that were good for work (ie, more conservative) and for play. This is a good alternative for Forever 21, mileage will vary depending on everyone's tastes. Their accessories were also a good bargain with most of them being buy one get one free. They had a good selection of jewelry, which I personally liked. I bought and tested their nail polish (don't judge, it was 4 tiny colours for 3 dollars after the BOGO, I had to get it to test it out) and they were pretty decent with no chips after a few days. Not surprisingly, their makeup, specifically, their eyesshadows were rather disappointing. The colours looked nice in the package but were rather chalky and pigmentation is weak. Bad/cheap makeup always makes me feel like a kid with play makeup, so I'll probably stay away from that. Truth be told, the main focus for H&M is clothing anyways, so while the eyeshadows weren't the best, the clothes were trendy and such a bargain. I would recommend this place. read more

*update 10/17/2014 - they DO NOT validate anymore anywhere, not even the building they are in ("top of Waikiki" building parking) First things first, PARKING. Yes, you can turn on Seaside and there will be signs, either for the building H&M is in on the right, or left on Seaside into the building across the street (the one with Armani and Sephora etc). They validate for both BUT, the lady who rang me up REFUSED to stamp my ticket for the H&M building parking lot even though I told her there were signs and it was the SAME building. I kept insisting until she stamped it reluctantly saying "I'm stamping it but it's not gonna work". Low and behold... NO PROBLEM. Validation for 3 hours, thank goodness I MADE HER stamp it ! I can forgive her though, The stores been open less than a week. Btw if you park across the street at the plaza, Victoria's Secret DOES NOT validate, and Sephora will only validate for a half hour. So don't skip H&M's validation thinking you're gonna shop in the other plaza anyway. Caused a HUGE headache, but that's another review I gotta type up for VS... *grunt* I was celebrating H&M coming to Honolulu, for just having moved from SoCal, I was missing it. I guess the buyers are different, or perhaps the styles have changed over time... my taste aside, the accessories can be cool finds, black cat head purse and red velvet creepers. Most women's blouses are around $20+. The mens section seems much better, a metro sophisticated style, everything from stylish T-shirts, to bowties. I came here since there was so much hype about this place opening in Waikiki. It's a pretty huge store for Waikiki with women's clothes on the bottom floor and men's clothing on the second floor. This place is reeking with annoying Japanese tourists. I did find there were a lot of staff around, but not once did they greet you or ask if you found everything alright. They just stood there or walked around the store. Most of the clothes are not my taste, but I did find their business wear section great. I found some great business pants for only $15 each. Much cheaper than the Banana Republic or Gap. They also have a lot of shoes and accessories. The line for the cashier is very disorganized and people kept changing lines to try to be serviced first. They need stanchions or something to corral people to one smooth line. Parking is on Seaside right after the H&M for the Waikiki Business Plaza (same parking for the Top of Waikiki). If you purchase something from H&M, parking is free up to 3 hours. So buy something small, then take a walk around Waikiki for free! read more

Luckily we are able to park for free in Waikiki, so our family spends quite a bit of time there. I like tons of others, was so excited to hear that H&M would finally be making it's grand entrance to our island. I had been to a couple of their stores on the mainland, and bought a few items here and there. Even though I LOVE to shop, I will skip it if the crowd is too crazy. That's what happened when we tried to go within the first week it opened. I took about 10 steps in and quickly made a U-turn and walked right back out. It reminded me of the subways, you were standing way too close to people. I've noticed as I've gotten older I appreciate my personal space more. I just don't understand how people were shopping there, you couldn't even take a few steps and look at clothes without someone right there breathing down your neck. So now that the "honeymoon stage" is over, we took another shot at it. The store is GINORMOUS! The entire 2nd level is for Men's which is refreshing because let's face it. Men's sections are normally a 1/4 of what us women have. Unfortunately, it's not my Hubby's cup of tea. Even though he did buy 1 dress shirt he needed for a funeral, 99% of the men's section is a little too metro sexual for him. I swear I thought some of their items in their men's section were for women. There were t-shirts with plunging low V necks, very floral and frilly-ish shirts? I ended up finding 2 pairs of exercise pants, and a pair of shorts. Like my husband, I didn't really care for most of the store's selection. When I want some clothes that are stylish and cheap, I come here! I really like the clothing that they offer. They have all sorts from gym clothes, to casual wear, to suits. Since I have been dieting, I have lost a good amount of weight. Shopping is so much fun when more clothes fit you because you're skinny. One thing that I do not like about this store is that some of the clothing is very dusty. I tried on a jacket and the black shirt that I was wearing ended up being coated with dust. I had to pat my shirt a bunch in an effort to clear myself of dust. While trying on clothing, the employee was awesome. She gave advice when I asked about different clothing. I wanted to know her opinion about the clothing I was trying on and she was really honest with her answers. She even helped me find different sizes of clothes that I was trying on. Finally, she took all the clothing that I was not interested in so I did not have to return them to the racks and shelves. For your convenience there are shopping bags that help you carry your selections around the store. The second floor has mens clothing and accessories, and the first floor has women's clothing and accessories. There are no public restrooms here. read more

Terrible customer service. Not sure if they're stressed or perhaps dumb, or a combination of both. We bought a jacket at regular price and then discovered there was a 20% off of one item coupon available, so we went the very next day to have them honour it. First, there were four checkouts open; three on one side of a pillar and one on the other side, with spacing for a line on both sides of the pillar. We stood in the line with one cashier because it was closer and the other line had one person. The lady cashier rudely and loudly stated, "the line is actually over there." I thought that was uncalled for since it would have been easy enough for her to serve the other person first and then just serve us. The store was pretty dead during this time. So either she actually couldn't keep track of who was first out of the two people there or she was just rude to be rude. Either way, don't be in customer service if you get that easily annoyed. Second in the dumb or rude or both category, Joshua, our cashier, did not want to honour the 20% off because we had already purchased the item. He sort of made more work for himself because we then just had him return the item, then repurchased it. I think decent/smart customer service would be to realize that this was a possibility and just tell the customer that they'll need to return it and repurchase, if indeed that was the only way to do it. Then when we wanted to use the coupon he told us he has to see us delete it from the phone (rudely once, then again when I was in the middle of showing him the coupon so he could see me delete it). Well sure thing buddy... But I hope you realize just because you delete something from your email, doesn't mean it's permanently gone. If you guys treated us like decent human beings I wouldn't be writing this review. The whole experience from beginning to end made me feel completely unwanted and unwelcome from the store. My husband wanted to look at some of the sale items but I couldn't wait to get out of there. The two staff members we encountered have no sense of decent customer service and need to tone their attitude down. Would have given one star but the store has a good selection of affordable clothing, is fairly clean, and located in a highly trafficked location. read more

Crowds are gone, yet disappointed with my visit yesterday: -store is small. -this location does not carry children's clothing. -layout is messy and not cohesive -too many basics, hoping to have found more trend pieces. -basic customer service (acknowledge customers and greet people) not part of the store experience here. overheard staff several time while walking through to "finger space" the racks which most be more important than helping the customers. I love shopping at H&M and buy tons of clothes there. Today the sales girl pulls a slick sales tactic and totally pisses me off!! I purchase $125.44 worth of clothes and give her a $100.00 gift card and $26.00 cash. She intentionally tenders $26.00 cash first and then swipes the $100.00 gift card, then she tells me you have .56 cents left on your card, do you want your card back and laughs? F_ U bit_h! She probably thought I would say No and keep the card for herself! read more

H&M is one of my favorite stores, especially since its in Waikiki. After walking around for a bit we stopped in here and did some shopping and the selection they have is irresistible, I wanted to buy the whole store, it was very crowded but what do you expect when it's H&M love love love this store read more
