We understand that the IRS is very slow with processing tax refunds this year, however, our complaint is more with the manner the office has handled this. I have contacted the office numerous times, both by email and phone in April, May, July, August, September, and October. We did not receive any responses to the emails and had brief telephone conversations that stated that the IRS has not yet been contacted. We are still waiting to hear that this office has done what they told us would be done, which is contact the IRS and inform us of the outcome of this call.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They don't keep appointments and claim they can't get a hold…read moreof you when they don't call. I received an email the prior day reminding me that I would receive a call that never came. I tried calling 10 mins after the scheduled call the following day since they hadn't called, and of course, I got their VM. Days later they emailed and quickly turn it around and blamed me claiming I am "so hard to get a hold of." They request to upload my tax documents which I already had a month prior yet they claimed that I hadn't which causes a delay in processing my taxes and is just an excuse so they can once again shift the blame on me saying I didn't do my part with providing the docs. The date when those docs were uploaded is time stamped so not sure how they can claim that the docs weren't there. These are all items I can overlook but what I won't overlook is when I received a confrontational call from Jose demanding to know what was going on. He would not let me speak and spoke over me the entire conversation. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and combative behavior from someone you're paying for a service. He was arrogant and rude. I didn't expect an apology regarding his dismissive and disrespectful behavior regarding the service I paid for but I certainly did not expect to receive such an abusive and confrontational phone call. He absolutely made it worse by calling. Absolute horrible service and lack of self control. He would not stop raising his voice and talking over me so I hung up on him. Clearly he is used to talking this way to people. He claimed that he couldn't electronically file my taxes because my identify was compromised and someone else had already filed in my name which makes zero sense and waiting until the day prior to taxes being due to let me know that I had to print, sign, and overnight my taxes to the IRS yet charged me as if he had filed electronically. The most unethical service I have ever experienced. Do not use this person. You'll regret you did.

Not ai, not an assistant or some person across the world from me, just a real person in Chula Vista ready to help. He knew a ton about reducing property taxes and answered all my questions about Prop 19. He also had a very good understanding of how the city works. he knew exactly who to contact and how to get things done. What would've taken a law office weeks to figure out, he explained in a simple 15-minute phone call. There's a reason he's saved in my phone as "The Property Tax Man." I seriously can't recommend this team enough--they actually care, and that's super rare these days.

He had the nerve to send a curt email soon after he was hired stating that "frequently updating clients" detracts from the work involved. That was the last email he initiated. You're better off representing yourself.
