Went to the location off of Broadway and Naples and I had an amazing experience. Vernessa really helped me. I just moved into a new place and was completely broke from it. I came here hoping to get a loan to get me thru the next week until payday. After a few validations of my bank account and employment I was able to get the loan I need. The lady who helped me was very nice and understanding. I can't find her name but she was very helpful. Went in to this location to cash my tax refund check, the guy took 24 minutes to count out the money (not like I had a $10k check) then I asked if I can be cashed out in a private room, he agreed but proceeded to count the money at his window in front of everyone. Once he counts the money 6 times, he then gets all the money and brings it to the "private room" where everyone was still able to see and knew exactly what and how much I got. Very unprofessional and will not go back here to cash any kind of check. read more

I've used services at this location since at least 2015 that I can remember. And the staff here provides exceptional service every time. They greet you when you walk in, they are well trained on the services they offer, and they're always pleasant and courteous. The best part is that they don't try to push services on you, instead they engage with you first and then make recommendations accordingly. To me that's important because I don't want the car salesmen experience. I've also called their customer service line with questions and they were super friendly and helpful. Went here with my hubby to try to get a payday loan and the lady was kinda rude to him. Made him fill out this big ole.long application and then have the balls to say oh I need your current paystub now and that she had supposively allready told.my husband when she didn't before. I felt like we could of been handled better by someone else and maybe somewhere else next time. read more

They help me out when I need them to. The tellers are somewhat rude and then somewhat nice but when I need extra cash before payday, I never have an issue. read more

The moneytree is closed in imperial beach so I was forced to go to the Chula Vista brach. I only use my debit card at money tree. I received an email telling me that someone at vons used my debit card. This was the first time my card was compromised and it came from chula vista. People be careful using your credit card at this store read more

Today I got a call from this store because they saw my review. The lady I spoke to was very kind and apologized to me for all of the hassle and the misunderstanding, as they do indeed work with online banks and said some of their tellers might need to have some updated training. She offered to mail me my loan documents, but, as I still needed some extra cash, I asked if I could come in for the loan. She said yes. I went afterwork, and Managers Steve and Delia recognized me a few words into my explanation, and we're super kind and helpful. Delia processed my loan and again apologized for the confusion. She explained the loan terms very thoroughly and gave me superb customer service. I am glad it all worked out. Five stars! read more
