All I can say is he was excellent. Great advice, knows his stuff, above board. He is a no BS kind of guy. I read another person's review that he seem to be a bit of a chauvinist. That was not my wife's experience, and she dealt with him on the business side of things much more than I. Jim can be a little blunt in his delivery, but that isn't a bad thing from a CPA who is there to tell you how things are, not just making up things you'd like to hear. Does it sound like he is talking down to you? No. Opinionated? Oh yeah - but sometimes where your money and livelihood are involved, it is good to have someone who is pushing you on things, and interested in you enough to give a damn. The extremely rude associate (Ricardo) told me I had activity on my account, and I couldn't make any changes. I asked what activity, and my sister, who was with me said we didn't understand what activity on my account. I asked that he explain that to me. His response to her? This isn't even your account, and I can't even talk to you about it. I stated. This is my account, and you can explain it to me. We were told we had an attitude, and he wouldn't help us. I called their corporate office and filed a complaint. Went to Best Buy mobile. Went out of their way to help me, and had no issue completing my request. I would have probably given up the whole self employed business long ago if not for Joe. I found Joe through some other colleagues in the Boston photography network years ago.
