Not only is he rude and disrespectful, he is basically incompetent. He seemed like he knew what he was doing but after switching accountants after a couple of years with him, she immediately picked up on several key issues that were causing us to owe taxes.. 2 years, we owed. Thank goodness we decided to make the move to another accountant. He missed so many things in our filings, and they were major issues that any halfway capable accountant should have been able to detect. They were quite obvious. He also gave us some financial advice, but the numbers he gave were all wrong. If you want things done properly, go somewhere, anywhere else. He never gives you a moment to talk or explain things to you. He speaks over you and acts like he is better than you. Truly terrible experience.

During those 15 years, we've had more than one audit by the IRS and our returns have been way too high. He used to be the friendliest, jovial type around, but perhaps he's going through a mid-life crisis - I never received any voice mails about picking up my materials, and when I tried to have a family member pick up my tax documents, the secretary would give my mom/sister a hard time. "Well, I don't know about that", says Vincent. OK, but there's also a payment I need to make to NJ that has a deadline that's already passed. Don't you think that the principle of the matter is that you didn't reach out to me at all about the payment? "It's just $87, I don't know why you're so upset", as he continues to talk over me and raise his voice so I am drowned out. Goodbye! I even gave him a referral, and he treated her with disdain. Just do your taxes yourself; going through the years of returns he's done for us, he's not a step up from Turbo Tax.
