It's dropped over 100 and now they tell me "we don't have control over the credit bureau", but I should have never gotten a specific number from them if that was the case. While I have had issues with the agent I would say its more Allstate as a whole and not just the agent. January 10 2020 I was involved in an automobile accident. I have been lied to by Allstate about what they have done to try and resolve the issue with Geico by my claims rep Marry Muhammad multiple times. I called and filed a complaint with cooperate, no one ever called me back, called and filed a complaint with my agent, no one ever called me back. Marry finally called me back to confront me about filling a complaint on her, called my agent never got a a call back. Now a few weeks ago I was affected by the bad storms that came through doing damage to my roof, I called a company to come out and look at repairing my roof and to give me a quote. File the claim and Allstate says there is nothing wrong with the roof, but I have had two different companies up there saying it needs replaced, but Allstate's people say there is nothing wrong. While in the beginning between car and homeowners they saved me about $800 a year, I should have never left State Farm. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Alas, the pain and discomfort of taxes can be somewhat alleviated by businesses such as H&R Block. Unfortunately the convenience of having someone else do your taxes comes at a price (they area business ya know) and I will most likely be doing my taxes myself next year.* That being said, if you want the assurance that your taxes are correct and that you are getting any and all deductions, tax services like this one are a godsend. Some highlights of my interaction: free coffee and water while you wait. Small perk, but still a perk. The tax pro I met with was also free with tax advice on setting up a small business that I may be considering. One is able to pay Uncle Sam via electronic check (have your routing number and account # handy) Paying H&R can be done with a credit card. *There are numerous places where one can get free tax advice such as libraries and other non profits. Definitely seek those out if you are not able to afford *Have previous years tax returns/documents as they provide free analysis to see if you might be entitled to amendments and refunds. Cool
