I called around first because I didn't want to pay $500 again this year. I called Liberty Tax and Johns set up appointments with both to get an estimate first we went to Liberty the Paradise Valley location behind the KFC over the phone I spoke with a lady which I didn't understand "language barrier" when we walked in I introduced myself and said I had an appointment, Tamara RIVERA was her name anyways this lady was kinda rude okay soo she clearly heard our english no accent what so ever and she asked us twice even three times if we needed a Spanish speaker better?? Well that was rude! We let it go and just started asking her questions which she did not know the answer to needless to say we didn't trust her we got up thanked her and went across the street to Johns.... Where we walked in and were immediately greeted with a smile as we spoke with the receptionist John was helping a couple but excused himself and got up to greet us he explained how he did things and asked us to fill out some papers and please take a seat. When he came over he was really nice and started off with a joke. He checked to see what and how it was better for us to file. He was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Please go to him no hidden fees just good and reasonable priced inconvinienxe tax not to mention he has classes FREE of cost to information you on how to file your taxes and claim the most and get the most!! Please mention Me Kaysi and get an instant $50 OFF!!! I paid $350 deposit for an online tax prep meeting so I will have to dispute charge with my credit card to get my money back! Stay away! Edit: Taxlana returned my $350 deposit. I did not get my taxes done by them so I cannot comment on that. But the experience of not being able to reach this company by phone or other and the location listed is not legit. But I cannot give a review positive or negative on the quality of tax prep by this company.
