I can't even give this a 1 star!! I made an appt with the owner Kevin 3 weeks ago so I can be sure to start a repour with him as he was so kind to help me with something 3 years ago (not filling). So the day of the appt comes (actually right now...as I am so pissed and am writing now). 1. Starts out pleasant with the greets. 2. I fill out some paperwork (nothing out out of ordinary) 3. I hear the receptionist and another (snot of a lady) who made a comment that I could hear that they do not show an apt for me. I then proceed to ask them maybe you spelled my last name wrong.... Right then another gentlemen comes in and she ignores me all together and proceeds to help the next guy that showed up after us. 4. I ask again... What is wrong? I made the appt 3 weeks ago with Kevin... The (Snot lady) stated well we don't have an appt for you and we can't get you in today. (Ok, travel 30mins back home wasting an hour of driving). :( To sum this up... WILL NEVER Go to MCMINNVILLE H&R BLOCK AGAIN!! read more

I can sum this up in one word SUPPER EXPENSIVE!! First time I had my taxes file here in years. And never ever again! I wanted a quote at the beginning, oh do you own a home? Ok that more money, did you get unemployment ok more money, are you going to file joint more money, are you going to claim medical tax oh that's more, even tho I did all for him all he had to do was put it in the computer. If I new how where to put what in the computer I would do it myself. They charged me 289.00 I really think it's a rip off the computer does everything for them all he has to do is put in the numbers. I'm so disgusted by them. On their web it's oh we do your taxes for 69. 00 and I didn't even feel comfortable about it they are in the office by themselves you are in the car waiting an hour and a half. Who knows what they do with all your personal information. This is the ONLY TIME I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN ANYTHING FROM THE IRS. "Oh we get you the most money from the IRS for you". The atmosphere was amazing! I was greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies and hot coffee. The tax preparer was very knowledgeable and they had a raffle for returning customers. I would recommend this business to anyone! read more
