The deadline I had for my accounting needs passed, she didn't respond to emails for days, my papers were held by her during this silence so I couldn't have my taxes done elsewhere. I'm utterly dismayed and stressed how this has gone, and the lengths I have to go to in order to get her to simply give me all my important documents back so I can get things done late. I'd hired her on 12/28/12 and based on that meeting left a positive review (and even - foolishly - a generous tip), and am updating on 1/3/13 as to her follow through past the initial meeting and what has transpired - it hasn't, since.. update 1/4/13: paperwork was returned, some of the work was done at no cost due to the delays. She apologized. I guess she had a series of life events that disrupted things. So glad to hear she, and my papers, were ok. Lower marks for the stress it all came to, and for missing the promised deadline and possibly my kids' chances at the Oregon Grant. But she did try and make up for it and her apologies were genuine... and life happens so I don't want to kick her when down either.

I gave a call to the office, spoke with Ryan (who was amazingly kind) and he saw that there was something off and asked if he could give me a call back. I figured it would be the next business day before I heard back. But he had it figured out after calling corporate in less than 2 hours. And I had a call back from him telling me the issue was resolved, that I would be getting a credit on my next bill for the mistake, and the amount I would be paying from here on out. Everything was so easy and painless. All in all, I have had NOTHING but an amazing experience with Spencer's agency. They are fast, they work hard, and they care about their people.
