I needed a copy of my tax return done by Patch office I am 70 yes old and live in Coram so I asked if selden could print it so I don't have to drive so far. They said yes so I called selden office who said said only Patch can print it. I called Patch back . They said they can't control what another office tells me but they are wrong... H&R Block Unbelievable never again! First time Last time Made an appointment for 2:00 PM with Virginia in the Patchogue Main street office I came early for my appointment at 1:45 best to be 15 minutes early than 1 minute late. Was told by receptionist she is finishing up with a client will be right with you. Sitting waiting until 2:50 ask receptionist why so long how much longer she said Accountant Grace will be another 20 minutes. So I sat and waited 40 minutes later I said 40 more minutes has passes then Grace came out saying she had a long return she was working on and can I wait another 30 minutes. Since I am handicapped and was a great effort just to get there since there is no Parking on Main Street and can only park back behind the courthouse then a long walk to the front door. I decided I will wait another 30 minutes. Now 40 minutes later passed and no one says anything just the two receptionist answering phones making appointments totally ignoring me. I was done I just got up and walked out. This office has no respect for my time. Completely unprofessional and incompetent Stay clear of this office. read more

Will never use H&R Block again. After 22 days from when i dropped off taxes and was still not done nor any phone calls returned, I picked them up to take elsewhere. My taxes were completed by another service within an hour. read more

Was told by the receptionist at H&R Block (108 W Main st. Patchogue, NY) to drop off my tax documents for Kevin Boyle because Kevin was not doing face to face meetings because of covid19 - was happy to drop off documents on 3/3/2021 because it has been a pleasure to work with Kevin over the years. It's been all down hill since then. I called H&R Block for an update and was told Kelly would get right back to me, she did not. Called back again on 3/17/2021 and was told Kelly would call me back, she did not. I called again today 3/19/2021 and receptionist Christina told me Kelly was on another call and would get right back to me, again nothing. I found out Kevin Boyle rarely stops by the Patchogue office and did not do my taxes. Learn from my mistakes and do NOT use H&R Block in Patchogue. read more
