I got divorced and made an appointment in advance to go get things changed and into my name and renters insurance, etc...they had my name with ex's address, and vice versa...at the appointment the agent didn't even have info ready for me, I was there for over 45 minutes and got nothing accomplished and he wanted me to come back another day - then why did I make an appointment to come see you? He was very unorganized. After considering it I left them and went with Statefarm, and ever since I have still been getting notices that my policy is up for renewal, bills, etc...I have even since moved out of their state, and they are still using my old address and I'm still getting the mail I called them just now and the lady who answered the phone seemed even more incompetent than the agent. My saving grace is that mail doesn't get forwarded forever, because I don't think they will get anything corrected before then. I have nothing against Allstate insurance, used them for almost 20 years, just don't use this office...

Despite providing all documentation well before the tax deadline (in February), I was left in the dark with no updates, no return to review, and no confirmation of filing. Phone calls went unanswered, emails were ignored, and when I did get a response, it was vague, dismissive, and condescending. When I finally terminated the relationship in writing, I received a follow-up email moments later pretending nothing had happened and continuing to ask for tax information on something I had already provided months ago. I was never sent a completed return or even an invoice. Mind you, I submitted all relevant tax info in February, taxes were due April 15th, and now it is June 10th still with absolutely no completed return or documented work done on my behalf. Tax season is stressful enough--do yourself a favor and work with someone who communicates clearly, treats you with respect, and actually files your return.

My husband had been…read moreworking on our taxes and had to stop and start a few times because Turbo Tax was saying that we owed a significant amount of money which had never happened before! Our spidey senses started going off and we decided to seek out professional help. I turned to Yelp and saw that E W Moore was A) close to where we live and B) had great reviews. I called and set up an appointment for that week. We met with Eric and delivered all of our tax information. He was really nice and laid back. The process was simple enough and after about two weeks he got back to us saying that we actually get a refund from state and federal!
