She made me feel very welcome during the visit , from star to finish . The basic membership is still reasonably priced! I've been very disappointed in the Customer Service I've received at various businesses throughout the Natomas Area, however I can say Triple A renewed my confidence that some people and businesses really do care about their customers! I went in and…read moreexplained my entire situation upfront, including exactly how much I was willing to pay to cash my check and that I did not want to sign anything until I knew exactly what the fee would be. I was originally given one price, so I spent over an hour there going through the process. Then, at the very end, I was suddenly told the cost would be almost $600 more than what I had originally been quoted. It was presented almost like it was no big deal, but $600 is a significant amount of money. Had I been given the correct amount from the beginning, I never would have wasted over an hour of my time. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of accountability or even a simple apology. I was also instructed to sign the back of the check, and the check had already been verified. Then, as I was leaving, she casually told me, "Oh yeah, by the way, you can still cash it somewhere else." That turned out not to be accurate either. After leaving, I was told by another check-cashing location that these types of checks may only be able to be verified once, and that the way the check had already been endorsed could also create a problem. So after spending all that time there, I left with nothing resolved and potentially more problems than I walked in with. When you are dealing with people's money, checks, and personal financial information, accuracy matters. Employees should know the procedures, clearly explain all fees before asking someone to sign anything, and be careful about giving customers information that may affect whether they can cash their check somewhere else. People rely on businesses like this for important financial matters. Being confidently given incorrect information multiple times is unacceptable. At the very least, there should have been some accountability and an apology for the time wasted and the situation I was left in.

Not to mention the tax consultant only wanted to interface using Skype and emails. We figured after paying all year that we deserved a proper office appointment. We didn't sign up for a Skype appointment to our home via our tax preparers home. Needless to say, we felt The Tax Office was no longer a good fit. Last time I checked, tax preparation was based on customer service, not convenience for the tax preparer.

When I checked my account for the large proceeds wire the next day there was nothing there. I immediately called the bank to see if anything was pending or if any suspicious transactions had taken place-nothing. After stressing out I finally found out that my deed had recorded late and the wire wouldn't happen until Monday three days later. I am sorry I am not rich enough to not worry about a six figure deposit so someone from Title should have informed me my money would be 3 days late. What if I was counting on that deposit? My next transaction was the sale of my rental property. The title company sent important documents to a work address in another city. I hadn't worked at that address in 5 years! Title had all of my current information and failed to even call to verify the address the docs were sent to. The next mistake was made on my payoff statement. Title included my $307 HOA fee. The payoff was dated June 10th. My HOA payment was processed on June 5th. Again a lazy title person screwing up and trying to make me overpay and then have to track down a refund. After all these mistakes I asked Carole for a discount. She refused. Bottom line don't ever use this incompetent title office. I worked for LSI title for 7 years and have 25 years in the industry. This title office sucks at every level.
