That's how bad our experience was with Larry of Pro Tax. To name a few of my issues with them: (1) Their office was unorganized (I even saw someone else's tax documents (name and SS#) while we were in their office... just laying on the table out in the open for anyone to see); (2) Too many people handling your personal information (it's not even Larry who's entering your tax info into their system); (3) Good luck if you need to get in touch with Larry if you have any questions after your appt. It's super hard to reach him, and he seems to be always in a rush; (4) Communication is also a huge barrier. Larry and some of his assistants were hard to understand. At times, they told me contradicting information and made it more confusing and stressful; (5) We went in to have our 2023 taxes completed in early March 2024. When 3 wks had passed and we still didn't have our refund, I called to verify. To my surprise, I was told they had a system crash and had to redo and resubmit our taxes. They didn't even call to tell us about the issue. I'm not even sure I believe when Larry claimed they had a system crash, and that is why they haven't submitted our taxes. I think it's a total lie. I honestly can go on and on about other issues we've had with them. Save yourself of the stress and headache...go find another tax preparer.

He took care of the whole process from scratch, including corporation formation, payroll set-up, and all pertinent regulatory required filing with IRS and State. He handles a ton of my friends' business accounts and taxes and has been truly amazing to me. I am particularly impressed with his knowledge and experience especially when discussing about corporate tax planning to avoid potential significant tax consequences.
