During our first six months we had minimal contact with the firm and did not receive any financial newsletters. Given the market volatility and the brief time at DWA, we were anxious to have our first six month portfolio review in March. We needed to reschedule the review and were shocked to be told Collin was too busy to meet with us for two months. DWA seemed surprised that we did not want to wait 8 months before sitting down to review our portfolio in May. One last item, the DWA office is in an area that is difficult to find while being in a high traffic area.

AAA Service Experience I wanted to share my recent…read moreexperience with AAA because I'm pretty frustrated with how things were handled. When I set up service, it looks like my address was automatically pulled into their system incorrectly without me even confirming it. The wrong address was entered, and I only found out when I had to call customer service to correct it. I contacted AAA and specifically told them the address on file was wrong and needed to be updated. The representative said she fixed it, but that never actually happened. When I was later contacted, they still had the old incorrect address. So clearly, the update was never properly entered into the system or communicated. That means I was basically told it was handled when it wasn't. On top of that, I'm really tired of the constant reliance on text messages. Not everyone uses a cell phone as their primary contact--some people still rely on a home phone. There should be a better system in place, like giving customers clear options: If you use a cell phone, you can get texts and updates If you use a landline or home phone, there should be a different method or direct call option Right now, it feels like the system assumes everyone uses a smartphone, which isn't realistic for all customers. Also, the timing communication needs improvement. I was told they would arrive within a certain timeframe, but they were about 30 minutes late without proper update or notice. If there's going to be a delay, customers should be informed in real time instead of being left waiting. Overall, AAA really needs to improve: Address updating accuracy Internal communication between customer service and dispatch Flexibility in communication methods And honesty with arrival time estimates I expected more reliability and professionalism, but this experience fell short.

Third Federal still took out the payment through automatic withdrawal after the payoff and even though I brought the death certificate and the will showing I'm the Personal Representative on her estate, they refused to communicate with me about the refund needed. They were extremely rude at the St. Petersburg, Florida office and I would never do business with them in the future. I have found every other business I have dealt with following her passing to be very kind and sympathetic with regards to such business. But these people were mean. And on top of that they owe a refund to my Mom's estate.

What a great bank…read more The phone call to get my refinance started was easy. My agent Kim made sure I had on - line access and I was able to just upload everything they needed. The program they offer under low cost is great. If you don't plan on staying in your home more than 5 years it isn't worth adding 3 or 4 k to your loan. The closing costs are $295 bucks. Additionally if the Fed lowers interest again In a year or two I can relock for another 5 years for $295 bucks. The have conventional programs too. If your in the market for a loan check them out. I had to drive to St. Pete for closing because other branches arent open, but that's okay. Ps. They escrow taxes, and they don't escrow homeowners insurance, you just pay that once a year yourself. Don't let that scare you off.
