Anupama Sigh did my taxes this year and made a huge mistake by not applying me for an refund advance after she specifically asked if I wanted one and I told her I did. Once she was finished with my taxes she told me I should get a notification within 24 hours if I'm approved after waiting the 24 hours I never received any notification so I called the 1- 800 number and they explained that the only way to have it applied is by physically signing off on it. I went back into the branch and waited 25 minutes to speak with her, only to find out that you cannot apply for it once the return has already went through. I am now without hundreds of dollars that I was planning on using to pay off my bills prior to getting my return. Because of her incompetence to do her job correctly. Do not have her do your taxes! I paid almost 300$ for her to make a huge mistake on my taxes and I will no longer do my taxes through H & R block going forward. read more

I've been using H & R Block for my taxes probably for the last 15-20 years. This is my first time to this office as I have recently moved to Simi Valley. Joanie K. did my taxes (I had three returns, two of which were rather complicated..at least to me!) and she was amazing! So sweet and friendly and very organized, patient and knowledgeable.
