Highly recommend! This is my 3rd time here and I've been pleased every time. I especially like Lucy and Tony - both are super detailed, thorough, and kind. I got a gel mani which included an arm/hand massage and hot towel treatment - wasn't expecting that. LOVED the royal pedicure. I appreciated that nothing felt rushed; they both took their time and it made my time here that more enjoyable. I brought my own beverage in but they have a variety to choose from as well. I've visited this salon a few times for a pedicure and have had reasonable results. The most recent visit however was quite different. I went in on a Sunday and the place wasn't visibly overwhelmed or busy, but I had to wait for at least 20 minutes in a chair until someone even acknowledged me, then another 10 for a different person to come and start the process. The technician spoke limited English which was fine, but as she proceeded to perform the pedicure I noticed several moments of discomfort. Her nails were pretty long and well manicured, but felt very sharp through the gloves she was wearing. Also, she spent an unnecessarily long time pumicing a spot on my toe that wasn't calloused and rubbed it raw. When I said something is hurting, she told me I must just be very sensitive. Whatever. Now, as a few days have passed, I noticed my nail on my second toe is red and inflamed. Either she caused it to begin becoming ingrown, or it's infected. Great! Please see the photo for reference. Not impressed. This was an unusual experience given that I've been coming here for several years and usually leave happy. Most of the nail technicians are great, and notably attentive. Today I ended up with the short end of the stick - went in for a classic pedicure, nothing fancy, and was directed to a tech I'd never met. I figured she was new, but that anyone could manage a regular pedicure. She filed both great toes unevenly (see photos) and even managed to cut into the side of my left great toe - and this was after I asked her only to push back the cuticles, not cut them. I'm concerned now that I'm going to end up on unnecessary antibiotics. When I brought up my concern with the tech, she argued, saying she needed to cut my cuticles. I had asked her to avoid this specifically to avoid ending up with an infection. Then she asked if I wanted them cut *more*. If you don't understand someone's concern, at least read the room, see that they're unhappy, and then ask for assistance. After that, the whole experience really just fell flat. I could have done a better job myself with a pumice stone and massaging my own legs - if I could reach my feet comfortably at this point in my pregnancy. I can feel calluses right now. Not at all worth the money spent. This was supposed to be a relaxing hour of treating my pregnant self to a nice pedicure, and it was anything but that. I might return to this salon in the future only because I've had good experiences there until now, but lesson learned - be careful, and only go with techs you know. read more

Should've known better. Went here and got a pedicure done by Tina. She said I had an ingrown nail which she proceeded to remove without my consent. As soon as I looked down she was already in deep with the tools. Next day after my pedicure, my toe was oozing puss. Today not so much, as I did sea salt soaks twice yesterday and cleaned my mail this morning. But the side of my toenail now hurts and is swollen. Will never be going back again. I had a great experience here at Villa Nail Salon. This place definitely gives luxury nail spa, and they offer free drinks (wine, beer, soda, and of course water). Here is my honest review. I saw high reviews and needed a last minute mani/pedi and the only time I could go was during my one hour lunch break at work. I show up immediately get seated for my pedi, amazing work. But for my acrylic full set... terrible. Very messy work, pictures will explain. 1. Terrible drill work, she burned all of my nail beds (all 10!!) she rushed and ended up cutting my pinky. 2. The gel finish (which I didn't originally want but was pressured to get it) was terrible, very messy and incomplete. 3. My nails are now throbbing and in pain I feel like there is much weight on my nail beds. I'm giving two stars for the overall service. 5 stars for the girl that did my toes 0 for the lady who did my full set. 4. I am VERY particular about my nails and it is next to impossible to find someone that actually understands what I want and executes them perfectly... until I found Andy! He is such a talented nail tech and I always leave admiring how beautifully he does my nails. He used to work at a nail salon much closer to where I live but I now happily drive an extra 20 minutes out of the way just to go see him. Highly recommend him! DONT GO HERE!! I'll start off by saying that the interior of this place is beautiful. When i walked in, a man working there asked me what i wanted without looking at me.... i told him just a pedicure for me and my mom wanted a gel nail and pedicure. I had a great experience, everyone was so so sweet until i left. i noticed my nails were filed unevenly and i began to notice the side of my toe looking bright red. it hurts to walk on and i'm pretty sure i contracted an infection of some sort. Sadly, a pretty nail salon doesn't always mean it's a good place to go. You'll be better off at Sol Nails across the street. They always do GREAT work and i've never ever had this happen. This place is overpriced and not worth it. Don't come here and risk having what happened to me happen to you UPDATE - turns out it was an infection. i'm on two different meds and the owner now won't answer me. It was super easy to call in and make an appt for a weekend slot. I came in a little early for nextgen and they showed me their huge variety of colors to choose from while i waited. Once i sat down at the table, they offered me a drink (wine, margaritas and non-alcoholic options!) and got to working. Zac was my technician and he was very good :) he was precise and did a great job considering my nails are very short because I'm a nail-biter. A habit I'm trying to kick and i consider these tips like tiny shields LOL. A week later and I'm still getting tons of compliments on the color and finish. I honestly should have read the reviews first before coming in. The reviews are very insightful after I had the same experience as the other clients that came here. I came during their "happy hour" with my friend that comes to this place all the time. I got the villa pedicure and it's suppose to at least last "35 mins" mine probably lasted about half of that time. He filed my toes, barely cut my cuticles, and half did the soles of my feet. He put the scrub on and he didn't even scrub it. He placed it on there and just washed it off again. It came with hot stones as well and by that I mean you only get TWO. One for each leg. He barely rubbed it in for 1 min and then switched and then did the other leg and rubbed with lotion for about 2 mins. That was it. Nothing really special at all. The menu said its suppose to last 10 mins. You don't get it. This place is over priced trashed for such a nice salon. I told the guy about my experience in the front and he just chucked and said oh sorry. Nothing Update. Three days after my pedicure, my feet feel awful. My feet are scratching against my sheets so bad because the guy did such a half-assed job and didn't scrap everything off. The man at the front tells me no, it was an accident and he can give me a whopping 15% off. Whatever. I get my dip nails and a pedicure. While I'm sitting there another 2 girls check out and show them the deal and he tried to tell them the same as me but one keeps arguing so he gives in and honors it!! So when I go check out and point out the fact that he gave it to them he says "no, I talked to you first, you only get 15%". Are you serious!!! Because I don't want to make a scene I have to pay an extra $25. AND!!! My nails are think and lumpy and my French line on my toes is too thick. Too many nail salons around to put up with this. Tried to come in as a walk-in with my 3 daughters at 6pm - there were only 2 guests inside and we were turned away. She told us to make an appointment for another day.
