I found everything I needed for a special family birthday meal I was to cook. They have the usual Deli, bakery, meat market, produce, dairy, and usual grocery items as well as some kitchen and home items. Skip the McAllen traffic and shop at this HEB! Use the app for additional coupons and savings. These days, every little bit helps!

They slso have hot foods ready, like barbacoa on weekends and fresh tortillas daily. It has a huge parking lot so you can drive around for hours to get that perfect spot! The produce department is not huge, but adequate. The meat department is pretty nice. I have yet to use any butcher services, but I'm sure they can accommodate. My only real issue with this place is the lines at checkout. There always seems to be long lines. They do try to organize the way they move with a manager usually directing people and sometimes even opening up extra registers. The lines back up mostly in the evenings when they have only 2 or 3 registers open. Overall, a clean and decently stocked small town HEB.

We waited patiently for hours and by the time we got to the front to pump gas, the owners or their employees let a couple cars cut in in front of us because it was their "tia"" "family". I said how is that fair that we have to wait it line and they just get to cut in front of the line? Before I even finished my sentence her response was "if you don't fucken like it, you can't leave". I and the rest of the cars that were waiting patiently could jot believe her response. I will never give any business my hard earned money with such bad service. I know it's a small town and maybe this store just locked in training their employees on how to treat customers.We are all in this together and we should be taken care of each other and businesses need to be more understanding.
