The highlight of my lunch was the corn tortillas. They were homemade and delicious. I'm not going to say that I will never return here because this is where my friend likes to eat. Located off of a busy highway/street with plenty of parking on a white gravel path, I found Scoops and Roots. I asked and the chick behind the counter suggested a chocolate ice cream that was the only vegan option outside of the non-creamed items. It was okay at best. I sat towards the back of the restaurant near the plants. There was a guy who kept walking around the vicinity that I was sitting which made me feel as if I was being studied. He spoke very loudly towards another person. I think he introduced himself as the owner. The plants were beautiful to look at, however, I thought that the pricing was outrageously expensive. I am a gardener and a former houseplant parent (before it was popular) and thought that the pricing of the plants was unreasonable. The owner sparked up a conversation with me and was telling me about how to care for plants.
