They have a great variety of Asian ingredients, frozen foods, sauces, noodles, and snacks that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff has always been friendly, the store is clean and well maintained, and the prices have always seemed fair. This trip we stayed in a TownePlace suite, with a mini kitchen that has an oven, so we made dinner ourselves each night. We visited this HEB as it was on the way back from the beach... this is the grocery store in Port Aransas on the mainland (not on Mustang Island)... we visited on Pi day, 3.14 / 3/14 / March 14. And, like so many grocery stores now a days, they had pie specials... - $3.14 for two slices (mix n match flavors) - $3.14 for a half pie (same flavor) - $3.14 off a full pie We got a couple slices and some chicken which we grilled back at the restaurant. She went above and beyond for me. She went back to her office, retrieved her personal cell phone and called the produce manager himself on his lunch break.
