She really listens to your questions and concerns and will always come up with a solution for your medical issues; whether she can help you herself; and if not, she will refer you to someone who can. I've never had a doctor that had so much patience and never rushes you out of her office. She takes the time to give you an explanation that you can understand. She is such a friendly, kind-hearted doctor. These days, it's very rare that you find a doctor like Dr. Harr. Her entire Staff is wonderful, from the Receptionist and Office Staff to the Nurses and the PA's. Everyone is so sweet and friendly. It's a very calm office atmosphere. I never feel stressed when I go to an appointment here, like I do at other doctor's offices'. I highly recommend Dr. Harr and her Staff. You get the best of the best care!

I was amazed at all the test they did in the home. She was dehydrated and they gave her fluids. I am beyond grateful for this service. After a really bad experience with that other clinic, I asked my family doctor to help me find someone that would actually care for their patients and that's when she referred me to Gastroenterology Clinic of San Antonio. After my first appointment with them, I could tell the staff cared about their patients and wanted to best for them (that's very hard to find nowadays). I absolutely love that after my first appointment the PA kept following up with me via email and phone to check on my progress and make sure everything is okay. I had a physical with Dr. Gerinini and went over all my prescriptions. No problem. When it came time to have them called into the pharmacy they put up road blocks and said I needed an additional visit. They also performed tests which were not necessary or asked for. These tests required an additional office visit with their PA to have her read the report to me even though I was sent the report and could read it myself. Now they are blocking me from seeing Dr. Gerinini and changing my appointment from the Doctor to the PA. I believe they are focused on maximizing their charges to Medicare instead of serving the needs of their patients.

NP Michelle completed a thorough assessment, and Dr. Harrison did an excellent job placing sutures while ensuring my daughter was as comfortable as possible. My daughter was extremely anxious, but every member of the team showed patience, kindness, and reassurance throughout the visit. A special thank you to Nurse Sam, who went above and beyond to help my daughter take her antibiotics, something that was not easy given her anxiety. We were also very impressed with how quickly everything was handled; we were in and out within an hour, which is rare for any emergency care setting. BEWARE of North San Antonio Healthcare Associates…read more I chose to establish care with PA Churchwell after she was suggested by another group. Clifford Alprin is her supervising MD. I needed referrals, bloodwork, and a consultation for some severe neurological and cardiac issues I had been experiencing. My establishing care appointment with PA Churchwell went well, she was kind and seemed competent. After that appointment I never heard from her again. PA Churchwell refused to successfully follow up on my lab work for over a month, she failed to assign me to her supervising MD for followthrough, the office was unresponsive to the imaging facility they sent me to (so I was unable to get my MRI) and once they realized I had fallen through the cracks, they promptly made me an appointment with Dr. Alprin. My personal experience with Dr. Alprin has been astonishingly underwhelming. He was unable to answer any questions about my lab work, my concerns, and lacked ANY updated medical information on methylation, genetic testing, possible solutions. HE asked ME to provide him with peer reviewed studies or articles about methylation pathways, genetic mutations, etc. I am VERY shocked this man is allowed to be the "top doctor" in this practice and now that I've met him, I simply should have never expected any better from anyone working under him. His satisfaction in his own ignorance is highly concerning. He could've referred me to someone with the answers, offered to research solutions... he could've done a lot of things differently, but instead- Dr. Alprin continually spoke over me, denied my concerns, and flat out "fired me" from the practice. All because he did not know an answer to a single question I had about MY health. I had begun seeking out alternative care, due to the lack of followthrough. I was hopeful maybe I had slipped through the cracks and could still receive any level of care, but sadly I was mistaken If you are needing competent, comprehensive medical care- don't come here.
