In a time when gas prices are high everywhere and going up, this does make a difference. I find their car wash does a pretty good job. It is not touchless like some of the newer stations have but it does a good job. The convenience store could be updated a little but they have most of what you'd need. They also carry propane tanks and firewood. I do need to say the staff is very friendly. However, they are chronically understaffed. This has caused them to close on occasion.

When I pulled the nozzle it said prepay was required, so I tried it all over again. Each time I put my card into the reader, it locked it in there, but then when I retrieved it after it unlocked the card and pulled the nozzle I'd get the "prepay required" message again. I went inside and prepaid a few bucks just to get out of there and get the gas I needed to make it to my destination. Luckily I think I'll never visit this station again since it's way out in Hoffman Estates.

BP is only a few blocks away from Woodfield Mall and had a free air pump. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who needed to add air to my tires as I had to wait for two cars for my turn, and when I left there was another car using the pump. BP has a small store with a variety of items for purchase. Both the friendly, cheerful employees directed me to the tire pressure gauges. Thank God they had one on their shelves! It came with two tire valve caps which I ended up needing one when my frozen hands dropped my car's cap somewhere in the slushy inches of snow.

They tend to have lower pricing than other gas stations in the area, too. Their convenience store has ample and varied stock. Their liquor tends to be good quality at reasonable prices. They still have their restaurant but we haven't eaten there in several years so I can't speak to that. The only issue is if you have to make a left turn out of their parking lot. Turning left across three lanes of cross traffic on Algonquin and Roselle Roads can be treacherous. You're better off making a right, then making a u-turn.

It is totally unnecessary and is ill designed for car with a low front end clearance like mine. In short, do not use the car wash unless you have a front clearance of 5 inches or higher. They are having inappropriate conversations between each other at the counter. Last Sunday at like 11am the music was really loud in there and they were just giggling behind the counter. Also, the pricing is strange here. For example Every other speedway/7_11 has 10 tacos for $3.29 but, even though the signs says 10 mini tacos for $3.29, there will only be 7 or maybe 8 in the box. I asked about it and they said it is only 8 and not 10. But the signs say 10. What's the point? Like I said, this place needs more management/owner oversight.
