We stopped by an auto repair shop 1.5 hours away from EP & was told we needed to stay overnight to get the part and to have it replaced. We figured the best thing to do was go to EP for a Nissan Dealer Service. We called one other Nissan dealer in EP and was told the same and, "You'd be extremely lucky if you could get the part today." Well, we called Casa Nissan and was told that they'd see what they could do. Paul returned my call in minutes and took down my car info. He stated they would get the part & express service our vehicle so we could be back on the road to our destination. We arrived an hour later, and they had a stall already reserved. My family and I got to rest and eat after 8 hours of non-stop driving. After a couple of hours, the problem was fixed! Casa Nissan was extremely professional and transparent about the work & cost. They were very busy today, and I appreciated that they took our situation into consideration. (We are a family traveling with 3 small kids.) While it has served us well with over 250,000 miles, its shredded timing belt and costly repairs meant it was time to pause and save up for future fixes. In the meantime, we needed a reliable vehicle--and our search led us to Casa Ford in El Paso, where we had an unexpectedly great experience! --- Why Casa Ford? He was professional, kind, and ready to answer all our questions (and we had plenty!). Anything he didn't know, he promptly found out for us--a quality I truly appreciated. --- Our Casa Ford Experience We visited on a Saturday morning to test-drive a few trucks, focusing on the Ford Maverick and Ford Lightning. While we didn't expect to make a decision that day, the amazing incentives for electric vehicles (EVs) made the Lightning hard to resist. Some highlights: $7,500 tax credit Free home charger installation or public charging credits Zero gas or oil changes Pete's laid-back, no-pressure approach was refreshing. The process did take about six hours, mostly for financing and deal finalizations, so I recommend packing snacks and entertainment if you're bringing kids. Luckily, Casa Ford offered unlimited popcorn, coffee, and water, which helped pass the time! --- Why We Chose the Ford Lightning The Ford Lightning made the most sense for us: It's spacious enough for all the kids' hockey gear It works perfectly with our solar-equipped home Long-term savings on gas and maintenance are a win! While the Maverick is a solid option, we felt it was slightly overpriced right now for its size. We're hopeful that by the time our Lightning lease ends, there will be even more small hybrid truck options. For now, we're thrilled with our eco-friendly and budget-savvy choice. --- The Casa Ford Difference Pete was incredible throughout, even responding to our late-night questions after we got home. His professionalism and service were top-notch, making the experience dignified and pleasant. Casa Ford's welcoming setup and attentive staff also stood out. --- Final Thoughts If you're looking for a new or used vehicle in El Paso, I can't recommend Casa Ford enough.
