Other companies wanted to set an appointment to come and give and estimate. It's 1 tree, I included photos, this should not take up a homeowners time for an estimate. Our 60 year old, big, red oak tree survived the freak wind storm in June 2019 that took down half the neighborhood trees and the tornado in October 2019 that took down the other half. Our tree, while still standing, developed a huge crack along a major tree limb. Unfortunately, we couldn't just remove the limb because the crack extended into the trunk of the tree. In fact, it became imperative that we do something quick because the limb was moving with the wind. We were concerned that it would fall and potentially cause damage to our home, cars or a person. Thankfully H Tree Service responded immediately to my request for a quote via the Yelp app. The next morning, Almicar was here assessing the situation and providing a quote for tree removal and stump grinding. We collected quotes from several other companies, but H Tree Service gave us the best bid, and more importantly, they were available right away to schedule the tree removal. The crew showed up and removed the majority of the tree the first day. They weren't able to come the second day, but they were here to finish the job, including the stump removal the third day. The crew was very mindful of not damaging the roof. They neatly piled up all of the limbs and leaves along the easement for city pickup. They also made a point of sawing the bigger branches into smaller, more manageable pieces that the city could easily pick up. I would definitely book their services again. read more

After shopping around for 4-5 different quotes, my neighbor recommended H tree services. Amilcar(the owner) came within the day to give quote and he didn't pressure us with the quote like other companies. He and his team came back the next day for tree removal and stump grinding. It was a crew of 6-8 people and they carefully pruned our large trees and had a good eye on where to cut. They were professional and they hauled everything away and cleaned my yard. The crew did a safe and professional job. They knew what they were doing. They took down a very large Ash tree in the parkway of my home. They used ropes and harnesses. They ground the stump 6 to 8 inches down. They placed the trunks and branches in neat stacks on the parkway by the street and cleaned up the mess. Amilcar (the owner) came out to my house last week to give me a quote. it felt good to not have a tree service pressure you for the job. I had already gotten a couple quotes earlier in the day. I hired Amilcar and his team on the spot. We went over everything I wanted done and I also listened to his recommendations as well. He quoted me $900 for two big trees which was more then I anticipated paying. We negotiated price and he came down to $750. Him and his team (wife as well) got started on the job and I didn't come out once in the 3 hours they working until they were done. They did an excellent job and I couldn't be more satisfied. Absolutely Fabulous! I had some tall Red Oaks that urgently needed pruning. One of the poor trees was losing limbs in the high-north-Dallas winds. Amilcar gave me a very reasonable quotation that included pruning all my plants and re-mulching the front plant beds as well as pruning my two very tall Oaks and a smaller pear tree. Amilcar came out to give me a quote on Monday which was the most competitive price we received and he was able to work with my tight schedule and get a big project done the very next day on Tuesday. The company did an outstanding job (quite frankly they did a better job than anyone else we've ever hired to trim our trees) and they cleaned up the bulk pickup items amazingly well so that they wouldn't be in the way on the sidewalk which couldn't have been easy for them to do considering how much trimming we needed to get done.
