My 7 year old wears a float device he has special needs so he likes to swim to each end of the pool They never told him or I until today he couldn't go into the deep part with the floats. jUST to reach the end and swims right back to the shallow. (He does not hang out in the deep end)And I do understand if that's a rule but no one has ever followed that rule or told me of that rule. Today I had to leave the pool because I didn't want to nag my son to not swim across the deep end. And since he does EVERYTIME in his mind he thinks he's allowed. No one ever told him he wasn't. Anyone with a special needs child knows it's hard to break a routine the child feels strongly about. So I tried to coach him out of going into the deep end I would've even stayed in the deep end with him but that's not allowed either. he still wouldn't break his routine so we left. I understand pool rules he was safe with a puddle jumper (float device) close to a life jacket and just wanted to swim across to feel accomplished. I wish people had more compassion and just let my little boy swim and feel good about himself. He wasnt hurting or being disruptive. Just wanted to swim across to the end. It's come to a point I need to find a pool that knows about kids with special needs that lets them swim anywhere in a pool WITH A FLOAT device and won't give them restraints on where to go in a pool.

Snack bar with hot and cold food and some over 21 adult drinks. Pool aerobics, yoga, movie night, swim lessons and live music entertainment. Plenty of parking. He is always encouraging and never puts the kids down ever. He challenges them while simultaneously encouraging and teaching them the proper way. He lifts their confidence up and lets anyone know and feel that they can Learn to Dive. He is always reliable, sweet, professional, organized and affordable. It doesn't matter if your a beginner or an advanced diver or one who just wants to get back into it. He is about each persons individual goals and success and instilling a "can do" attitude.
