So when we sold our home and left the system behind, we purchased the same one for our current home in Broken Arrow (Tulsa area) that was installed by General Ionics of Oklahoma. Once again, the results have been incredible. While the water in my area is considered safe and meets EPA and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) standards, third party testing such as through the Environmental Working Group has identified contaminants such as bromodichloromethane, chloroform, hexavalent chromium, and perfluorohexane sulfonate (PFAS - known as "forever chemicals") in it, to name a few, that exceed health guidelines. To put this in perspective, the PFAS exceed guidelines by 3,800 times! All are associated with very serious health concerns. Although there is not a local Puronics dealer in Broken Arrow/Tulsa, General Ionics went above and beyond to accommodate us. In particular, Alex ensured a quick turnaround getting the system delivered to us and with arranging for an installer, Aaron, to come to our home from the OKC area whose work was clean, precise, and professional.
