Bluewater is a full service dive shop. They provide lessons, gear, and even have special dive trips that are very reasonable (haven't been yet but I will). Staff is very helpful in selecting gear, and this is one area I definitely recommend expert guidance instead of buying what's cheap. Their diving instruction is as good as it gets. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and I was very satisfied with their open water diver course. I've also retaken the course with my girlfriend at another OKC dive shop, but Bluewater was far superior all around. I've since been diving at numerous places in Mexico and the Caribbean. Mike is the instructor for ScubaBros and has an amazing amount of knowledge for the sport in every aspect of it. He has a great personality and made the class fun to be in. He is a very patient person and is extremely helpful as I stumbled through my first day of being in the water. He has a true passion for teaching and is a wonderful person to be around. Our other instructor Hope is really wonderful as well, she was super kind and patient as well and could not ask for two better instructors. Have to give a shout out to Stevie she is super helpful and her knowledge of equipment is amazing. Overall the best experience I have ever had with learning a new sport, hobby or activity. On this day we had the pleasure of working with Dana Drake. She was super friendly and helpful. It was clear to me that this shop is all about their passion and they are willing to share all that they know/do with all who want to learn. I also got to see my first ever SHARK KITTY (see photo). I am excited that Dana gave both my sister and I a really cool Sea Shanty sticker. Mine is already on my car and I am sure I will smile ear-to-ear every time I see it. This is a really neat shop.
