Bank. TD Bank's are…read morescattered all over the place and this location is semi-convenient to me. That being said, I try not to go in here unless absolutely imperative. The location is on a busy corner and is totally undermanned and overwhelmed. There are just not enough tellers to handle the crush and seemingly every person on line has something complicated to discuss when they get up to the tellers. Their banking products department is also humming but at least there seems to be one person stationed per desk - unlike the teller window area. TD does have one redeeming aspect- they have their penny arcade where you can dump in your loose change, get the tally print out and get cash at the teller. The concept is great and there are no fees for the transaction - you do not even have to have an account. The downside of course is that you will inevitably get behind some guy with a hand truck and 5 gallon bottle of coins. Although they aren't supposed to use the machines for huge quantities of coins, the 2 women ahead of me, who were clearly together, commandeered both the change counters and proceeded to just about destroy them with the huge quantity of coinage they dumped in. Clearly the own a laundromat or something that generates huge quantities of coins - they shouldn't be allowed near those machines. In any case they managed to fill the machines no less than 10 times - which meant that the manager had to keep coming out to replace the bags. It was a nightmare to watch. In any case you eventually get your coins counted then stand on the 1 or 2 teller line and wait another 15 minutes to get your cash. The place was also not the cleanest - I doubt highly I would ever go back to this branch. Parking is available but tight.

Went in to roll over money into a 401. woman at the "platform" was clueless and had to keep asking…read morethe man next to her what to do. they had us deposit the rollover check into our checking acct and filled out all the paper work to get the money rolled over - well nearly 1 month after and we are still waiting for the rollover to happen. stopped in on sat and lady we spoke too told us call retirement number, retirement people say branch SCREWED UP and did not authorize it as rollover. spent over 2 hours on the phone and have been told we have to go back to branch to get it fixed. they are the WORST branch I have ever encountered. thinking about taking our money and moving over to Chase

Old Country Rd, in Hicksville; I've felt happy enough to stay loyal for 25 years and it hasn't been the same branch manager the whole time. In the past decade in particular it has only gotten better with a real commitment to improvement in efficiency and customer experience. Banks are still banks, with all kinds of complex procedures, so it's all about the personnel and what kind of human interface they can provide. I'm amazed at the care they must put into the hiring or interview process to get such competent, caring people. There's not a lot of turnover, but when it does happen, each time they find a new star. Though it's not the biggest of banks, and doesn't meet every last one of my needs, they deliver a 110% effort and warmth every day.

So, ya think its better all dressed up? 1 entrance in and out. They windowed over the back entrance. Hmm, I wonder what the Fire Marshal has to say about that! Handicap friendly- Whell they do have a few parking spots in front and a button to press to open one of the two doors and... that's about it. After all what more could one want? Wanna cash a check you gotta go in the bank, do all the show id and verify, deposit it, withdraw it and then get it cashed. Nice people- nah. Or shall I say mensa mensa depending on who you speak with and whos the Vice President of the day. Do they Believe you when you say hey the outside says drive up TELLER But NO! its not, only ATM's and one doesn't work. (see pix) Of course, I am lying to the manager so she can go out and walk over and see for herself! Yep. She did. Ask if I cared. After ALL one of the two ATM machines was working ! What I like most about the TD branches are the teams that are in them. The people in these branches are extremely friendly and helpful. This is very refreshing these days a many places are going with more and more automation to eliminate the branch banker. We use TD for my organizations that have accounta held here and I am just so pleased with the time and attention given to me with any questions I have. I use two branches, one in Mineola (my home Village) and one is Westbury on Brush Hollow Rd. The teller seems agitated in see maybe how many deposits I am doing and proceeded to educate me on how to do proper depositing. What a piece of work! I found this degrading and demeaning because I have been doing this amount of deposits every other day for our management co. I hope this review reaches the ears of someone in charge and perhaps change the culture at this branch. .................UPDATE The Manager is just as customer unfriendly as well. Denise was totally great, She was super friendly and very helpful and took all the documents and photo copied them and then sent them to the correct Capital one Department. It was my first time doing an in-person deposit, with our new account so I didn't know what to expect. My husband sent me with the card, and when I called him to confirm the PIN, she laughed and said, "I can't believe this," while I was still on the phone with him. That comment felt unprofessional and embarrassing. She later apologized and even asked if I accepted her apology, which felt awkward. I said yes just to complete my deposit and not lower myself to her low standards. What should have been a simple Friday afternoon deposit turned into an uncomfortable and disrespectful experience.
