Stopped by here for dinner and had a lovely experience. The staff were very kind and nice through our whole dining experience which we really appreciated. He was very helpful which we appreciated. We ordered the chicken shawarma platter and chicken shawarma pita which were both delicious. The portions were generous and flavorful. The hummus also came with pita which was a nice addition. I love this little authentic Lebanese Grill! Nothing fancy - but just like grandmas old kitchen - the food is what you come for! Prices are very fair for this fresh food. I've been on the go since before the sun was up today. Usually I would get the food to go - but today I just needed to sit and eat like a human instead of in the car etc I wanted a few minutes of peace and quiet before going to my chaotic home. Is there sometimes a 10 to 15 minute wait for the food - yes... I'm more than happy to wait because everything is prepared fresh in your view. I grabbed my phone and expected to watch TikTok for entertainment... Be aware! If you can't wait the 15 minutes - save this place for another day unlike a nasty woman who was loosing her mind that 15 minutes had passed and they were putting her meal together. People are wild - I wanted to say mam - do you not see these guys moving as quickly as they can? I sat and watched for a moment. Both of the guys working tried nicely and calmly to explain that they were preparing the food etc - she was literally having a temper tantrum. Thank goodness I don't work in that field as I think she would have been wearing that food. Anyway this review is long overdue! I am always happy with the food. Seeing how they handled a wacko customer made me sure these guys care very much about their business. The garlic sauce is to die for! We recently dined at Habibi Lebanese Grill and had a mixed experience. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, which gave it a comfortable, welcoming feel. The workers were friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. We started with the lentil soup. While the flavor was good, it was served lukewarm even though we were dining in. That was a bit disappointing. The fattoush salad was good overall, but it did not taste like traditional fattoush and was missing the usual pita chips that give it that signature crunch. Still enjoyable, just not quite what we expected. The tabbouleh salad, however, was very good and fresh. The biggest disappointment was the chicken shawarma sandwich. The chicken was dry, which took away from the flavor and texture. Shawarma is usually juicy and well seasoned, so this was the most noticeable issue. I enjoyed every bite of my plate! The falafel was so tasty and the rest of the plate complimented each other so well. Came with someone who has a rather, American taste for things and is picky, that truly enjoyed the chef platters. They had their first falafel here and doesn't want to give me their falafel anymore! I have been going to Habibi for years and it never disappoints. It is the best Lebanese food in the area and is always full of flavor. The service is always helpful and everything is made to order so it is fresh, not stale. It is a small business so it does have indoor seating, but not a lot of seats, there are some outside seats as well. Overall I highly recommend this business. read more

The hummus was well made, whipped nicely and flavorful. The stuffed grape leaves were equally good. The Mahmoud was very dry and crumbly. This is a bit expensive for the price paid, but the food is pretty good. When you enter, you go to the counter and order your food and drink. I did the chicken kabob wrap (9 dollars). After ordering and paying, I sat down at a table, waiting for my food. There were many other patrons waiting as well, so I knew it may take some time. There was a TV playing the news as well as middle Eastern music in the background. They make their food fresh, so it does take a bit of time to grill the chicken. About 15 minutes later, my food was ready, which I took home. The wrap had some marks and the bread was a bit hard due to the press and double breaded, but it held the ingredients inside quite well. The chicken was a bit tough, but still flavorful with the sauces added. I believe hummus, garlic sauce, and the requested hot sauce were there, as well as tomato and some pickled vegetables. The flavors came out pretty good and the portions were right. I always have the food to go here as many tables can get occupied. The wait is normally a bit long, but the service is relatively friendly and helpful. I normally go to the Publix within walking distance, then come back to get my food. You can also call ahead to order, then pay and pickup your food. While this isn't my favorite place for Middle Eastern wraps, it is still a good and healthy place near Metrowest for them . read more

Where should I start when it comes to Habibi!!?? We drive 50 min from our house to eat here and that should say a lot! First of all, don't confuse this place with the other Habibi as this is the better of two locations (different owners I think). The food here is always cooked to order, the service is always awesome and it makes me feel like I'm back in the middle east when I eat here. Certain items do run out so if it's later in the evening, good luck having it available. The kefta kebabs are juicy, the hummus and baba ganoush is fresh and flavorful. If you're a fan of garlic, they have one of the best garlic sauces (thoom) around. The chicken and beef shawarma is really good, one thing I can say is that the meat is def not dry like some places. They even have a kids pizza that we ended up eating more than our 3 year old. The location is small and it's better for takeout unless you don't mind sitting outside. This place was the first place I went to when my wife and I arrived in town this trip. Why would that be? Habibi is the best middle eastern place for schwarma in the state, hands down! My wife and I walked in, and the people not just welcomed us, but, remembered us (we haven't been in over two years) and the place was very clean. When my wife and I ordered the schwarma sandwich, and the schwarma platter, we both were enjoying ourselves quite a bit. I'm not upset to say that I was initially worried about if the prices increased a bit, but, I realized my order almost was consumed over two meals by myself. The chicken is moist, the hummus is perfectly flavored, and the garlic sauce *chefs kiss*. I'm someone who really enjoys eating at this place -- their food is usually very good. But today, the cook young guy who prepared our food. The place was almost empty, just us and a few ladies who were eating. He messed up our first order. They told us they would remake it, but properly this time. They ended up making one correctly and the other one wrong again. We complained again, but then they didn't do anything until we insisted. Finally, a new cook made the food for us in less than two minutes. In the end, the young cook seemed very distracted, and while we were waiting for the last shawarma for like 30 min, he prepared everyone else's order except ours. read more

So I have been doing my best to explore Orlando cuisine far and wide. I heard that this place has some of the best Middle Eastern food in the city. At least according to the fine readers of Orlando Weekly. So I grabbed a couple of friends and took the long trek down to Hiawassee and checked it out. I get in this place, and I see just delicious food displayed everywhere behind the glass. There's nothing better than watching those spinning meat sticks in the back getting ready to get eaten by me. I check out the menu and weight out my options, knowing I kind of want a little bit of everything. I decide to get the Chef's Platter for 2-3 people (Chicken Kabob, Shish or Kafta Kabob, Hummus, Tabouli, Grape Leaves (V) & Falafel. Served With Garlic Sauce & Pita Bread). And, because I wanted it, I also got the Chicken Shawarma Platter (Marinated Chicken Breasts Roasted Slowly On A Spit, And Cut In Thin Slices). I mean, everything was good. So good. The kabobs were awesome. Charred to perfection and not dried out because of it. Don't just eat them off the stick, though. You gotta grab of a hunk of meat with the pita, dip it in the hummus, maybe a little garlic sauce, a slice of pickle on top. Basically I'm telling you to get your hands dirty and play with your food here. This kind of cuisine is so much fun for that. The hummus was better than anything you can buy in a store. Mega creamy, and teeming with spices. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the outside, like a Lebanese hush puppy. And the pita bread was so soft, so rippable, and the perfect vessel for me to make dozens of little sandwiches with multiple flavor combinations. So good. Also also, the shawarma was excellent. First time I've ever had shawarma, which is surprising, since I saw the Avengers back in like 2012. Very flavorful. This one was a little dry, but hey, all meat that's barbecued like this can be dry. That's why we invented sauces. And tabouli and hummus and rice, and pickles. Very good stuff. Overall, I really really loved this place. I wasn't sure how I'd like the Lebanese focus with the foods that were more basic Middle Eastern, but everything new I tried here was really excellent. Have been coming here over the last few years! Everything has always been consistent. I can tell it has gotten some paint and stuff making it look nicer. Our favorite thing to order is the chicken shawarma or the mixed one that has chicken and beef. I however ask for all the veggies and sauces on my chicken one and it is soo good and massive. I've been to other Habibi locations, and I think this one is the best. There was a line and quite a wait. I had ordered ahead of time, but still not ahead enough.
