My son loved his kids chicken bites with fries. Hubby got a charburger with cheese which he loved. He also got the fried green beans. I also love that you can get jalapeños and banana peppers. I love a good chain burger, and I've never failed to leave impressed by my meals at Habit Burger. During this last visit, I gave the Charburger a try, and it's everything you would want from a good burger. If something has the word 'char' in the name, I need to taste some smoke and crisp, and this burger certainly that in spades. Think backyard barbecue grill, complete with grill marks. This was also a neater sandwich than I've gotten from most chain restaurants, with the actual burger closely matching what you see in pictures. If I had any complaints, it would be that it was on the smaller side. After we finished our meals, my husband and I seriously contemplated getting extra burgers because we still felt hungry. Fries are also decent - hot, well-seasoned, and fried to a good crisp. Ordering is also a cinch. If you're paying by card, there are several kiosks near the entryway so you can place your entire order through a screen. Alternatively, customers with cash (or those just wanting to interact with a human being) can place orders with a person at the counter. Either way, you're given a buzzing pager to let you know when your order's ready for pickup. Easy peasy. This location is inside a complex with quite a few other dining options, so parking is technically plentiful but I've noticed things can get a little tight during mealtimes. read more

I can't believe how much this place has improved. I've eaten at about four times in the past two weeks. The ordering system was much better, and I have to say even the food tasted better. I was so happy to see that they now have impossible burgers, and those are my addiction. It was perfectly cooked. The sandwich wasn't sloppy. I really enjoy The Habit but they completely messed up my salad order! I got the Harvest Chopped salad and they forgot to put on half the ingredients! I went back a second time for a char burger and fries. it was ok. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The food was made to order and hot. The prices are reasonable. I went back a 3rd time for another char burger and this time got onion rings. The onion rings and fries are good. The char burger comes with lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, and I think there may have been some mustard and Mayo on there. It was ok. Their burgers are better than Burger King and and are also better than when your friend is having a BBQ and overcooks the burgers. Other than that, I'd prefer a burger from anywhere else. Never thought I would say this but Habit Grill to go is a big no-no. I ordered through the app and picked up a couple of charburgers, fries, and tempura greenbeans and it was disappointing to say the least. The way they wrapped my burger, it was so soggy and wet it immediately turned me off as I unwrapped the casing. The tempura green beans did not come with the correct sauce and just overall, was excited for my meal but felt as though I had wasted my money. I am not one to leave bad reviews, and usually, I have had good experiences with this particular Habit Burger Grill, but I write this review explicitly as a DELIVERY CUSTOMERS BEWARE: I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience. The delivery driver dropped my food off at not only the wrong address but then blamed me for their mistake and not reading the DETAILED instructions I provided indicating the very specific and clear landmarks to make the delivery easier. They were incredibly rude when I asked where the food was left, and when I asked why they had not followed the instructions, they made clear they did not feel it necessary to read the "paragraph" I provided. It was 3 short sentences: "Look for the [COLORED LANDMARK and NAME ON SIGN] on the right. My address is in the middle, with a [COLOR VIDEO SURVELLIENCE] sign. It is NOT in the white buildings across the street." And where was the food literally dumped?!!! Across the street and around the corner on a DIFFERENT ROAD. Sloppishly and piggishly thrown down. The food was wet, spoiled, and ruined. Being gaslit by a delivery driver goes above and beyond appalling. If a delivery person can't be bothered to read instructions, the basic responsibility of the job after picking up the food and getting into a vehicle, then they shouldn't have that job. Further, if reading is such a struggle, then perhaps management should consider hiring someone literate instead. read more

Love Habit Burger. I give it a 5-star rating on their staff alone. Terrific professionals. The food is also great. My favorite is the Santa Barbara Charburger...but everything is fantastic. My only issue is that they flame-grill their burgers medium-well. But if you ask of they can bring it more towards medium, they usually acquiesce. Ingredients are all top-quality. Great salads and other non burger sandwiches are top-tier. Their Chicken Caprese is flavorful and delicious. And make sure to save room for one of their shakes...my favorite is strawberry. read more

I've ordered several times from Door Dash. The tuna burger is my go-to menu item. I get it with seeded wheat bun, shredded lettuce and sliced tomato but I hold all the sauces. I only order it when I have roasted vegetables at home that I can add to the burger, such as red peppers. mushrooms, onions and sweet potatoes. I do this so that the total sodium content is lower than if I added their sauces. And the vegetables add to the complexity of the flavors. I once ordered the black bean burger and didn't enjoy it as much as the tuna burger. But I hadn't thought to add my own roasted vegetables that time. So I might order it again when I have roasted vegetables at home. And I held the sauces, so the black bean burger might be much better with the Habit sauces. Habit either doesn't offer desserts or doesn't offer any that I like. And I have a very sweet tooth. So they're missing out. read more

Twice I ordered salads to go and they omitted the grilled chicken from the Greek Salad, and the Caesar Salad was half the side of their normal one. I ordered a double char with bacon and cheese with fries and onion rings. Service friendly and enthusiastic, they were probably trying really hard to impress. They did. The food was very good. Kicks the crap out of local chains, I.e. (Shake Shack, Steak & Shake, Bobby Flay's, etc.) Burger tasted obviously flame grilled as advertised. Pricing was OK, gets expensive as you add stuff, but worth the prices. Fries and onion rings were pretty standard, but good. I like that they have a free pepper bar with jalapeños and peppers. For a fast food place, the food was alright. The veggie burger was almost too perfect, perfectly shaped---is it home made? im torn. i think so but they must use some perfect mold in order to make it , because even the meat burger was perfectly shaped. You can tell hands didnt make this. The bun was nice and fresh, it needed more cheese tho. One thing i enjoyed was the option to get raw or cooked onions. Also, a nice flare to this was two slices of cucumber--never had that before but i liked the crunch and the freshness. Like i said the burger needed more cheese--also $1 extra for cheese. this is complete crap. The fries were okay, i feel needed to be cooked a little longer. We got stuck in traffic so we stopped to grab a burger. Food was excellent - very fresh ingredients and not greasy. Fries were also tasty and not greasy. The only negative was a bunch of 13 year olds sitting two tables away, completely unsupervised, loudly dropping f-bombs and other nasty expletives. The table between us had small children and were visibly uncomfortable. So were we. So we chucked half of our food and left. My first visit -- they did well!! Although new I did not see any hiccups in my visit. The line moved quickly, my food was ready within a few minutes, the servers were all friendly and the tables were clean. When we were done eating the servers came around and helped clean -- Wow, I hope they keep this up! My burger was made as requested. I thought it was seasoned properly and the sour dough bread it was served with was great. We utilized the indoor seating but you can sit outside. The habit is one of my favorite restaurants to go get a burger recently. Its in a convenient plaza nearby me and I've been a customer for a while. The food there is great the char burgers are delicious, you can get a nice meal with fries and a drink for a decent price too. My favorite burger from here has to be the Santa Barbara char burger, its like the double char burger but instead of the burger bread they used a toasted slice bread that i think goes great with the avocado slices in the burger. Ever since i tried it for the first time it has been the only burger i get every time i go to the habit. The homemade strawberry limenade is top tier too, not to sweet and goes great with the food. They have regular drinks to if you feel like drinking other stuff. They have shakes and salads too, im not to big on salads but the oreo shake is ok it wasn't up to my expectations. The indoor dining is very cozy and i like the design. One of my favorites at this plaza! One of the best burger spots around us rn in my opinion considering its quick like fast food spots but a lot better. read more

This review is solely based on an online order. I work nearby, and I was starving so I decided to try it out. I had a chicken sandwich on toasted sourdough, with mayo, bbq sauce, American cheese and lettuce. My order was ready when I arrived, and the cashier went over the order with me and packed some extra napkins. My first impression of the restaurant was that it was very spacious, bright and clean. The online order area was well labeled, and I was assisted with a smile. My sandwich tasted great! It was still warm, and the chicken was tender. The BBQ sauce was smokey, flavorful and exceeded my expectations for a fast food restaurant's BBQ sauce. I enjoyed my meal, and although I'm not a fan of charred meats, I'd love to try some of their other chicken sandiwiches. Their burgers are also very juicy and flavorful; the green bean tempura fries are amazing with the ranch sauce! They always go over your order with you, and it's seamless. Very inconsistent place. It's literally either hit or miss and most of the times it's a miss especially if ordering to go. The amount of times I ordered a chicken sandwich and got a piece of chicken on one half and barley anything on the other is unbelievable. I literally gave up on this place and all its locations.
