Every time I order takeout, something is wrong. Most of the time, items I ordered are missing. I would like to check the order before leaving, but the bag is usually packed so tightly that it is hard to verify everything. I like how they have lemonade and other options. The tempura string beans are so good! The reason I give them a 4 star is because twice I had little crunchy burnt pieces in my burger. They are out of this world. Little kick and just perfectly done!! What a great idea and these were a home run! I took a picture of the Burger on they menu thinking I would have to compare the two... I didn't. The actual Burger was just as good looking as the picture and tasted excellent. They cook the burgers right on the grill with flames bursting everywhere. Fresh as fresh can be. Fries were your average fries. Service was top notch. The girl that took our order was refreshingly polite after a long day and the gentlemen that was waiting to give the food to me was just as nice. Came here with my family since we were in the mood for some burgers. Upon walking in, there was no temperature checks or capacity/social distance control over the amount of people in line. It's a relatively small place so it can get pretty crowded when busy. The only true Covid-19 precautions I saw, aside from the mask requirement and the employees wearing gloves, were that tables were separated and there was designated seating for the indoor dining. These areas were marked by stickers and were cleaned after every customer finished their food. The staff was friendly and inviting. As for the food, my family and I all ordered the Double Char Burger with added bacon and a side of fries. The burger, although a tiny bit sloppy looking, was incredibly delicious and packed with flavor! The patties were cooked nicely, the bacon was crispy and the fries were decent but I didn't mind that too much because of how good the burger really tasted. I ordered a char burger with all veggies minus cheese and mayonnaise, some yellow peppers on the side and a plate of sweet potato fries. I was pleasantly pleased by it all. The fries were not salty, the burger was a good bite-able size, and the yellow peppers were a pleasant tangy touch. So food-wise, I happily give a high rating. One star lost because the place was somewhat comparable to the frozen tundra. A customer there saw me and said in vigorous agreement, "it's frigid in here!" Looking for places I haven't tried yet and checking Habit's menu I see this 'Santa Barbara Char' burger. That comes with avocado on sliced grilled sourdough bread. Avocado on a burger, so I try it with all the fixings and extra topping of bacon, with fires, and onion rings sides. The combo of avocado and beef is not bad, something different but not up there with a chicken club, and add the toasted bread with crispy edges and they should have had a big winner with me. But one drawback was they put their mayo sauce, pickes, and tomatoes as the base on the bottom bread and it turned into a soggy mushy mess. I don't like holding mushy bread or having mushy bread on my tongue. the fries are ok and the onion rings where cripy so they know what they are doing with that. read more

I came here last night on a whim while shopping in the Teterboro complex. I'm going again for lunch today! It's THAT good. Is it too much to say it's the best grilled chicken I've ever had?? I went in around 8pm on a Sunday and it was still very decently packed with patrons. Lots of tables and outdoor seating too. Since it was our first time here we were just staring at the menu and the gentleman taking our order was very sweet. He walked us through it and ordering was a breeze. He joked around with us too, even though it was late on a Sunday his personality was great. We got our drinks and I was shocked at how many options they had. So many fresh brewed teas, I decided on strawberry limeade - delicious. While waiting they had some condiments for the taking. It's a fairly open kitchen and we were waiting for our food. Our tray came out with our fries and shortly after, our chicken sandwiches. The woman behind the counter offered us extra fries! She was so sweet and really made my first trip there memorable. We got to our seats and my first bite was perfect. The grilled chicken was juicy and hot, the wheat bun was soft and chewy. Yummm. I really wanted to like this spot. I was in the mood for a burger so we decided to try Habit Burger. I ordered the number one (char burger- one patty)with cheese. It came with lettuce, sliced tomato, caramelized onion and mayo. I kid you not when I say that the burger patty was so thin that I could barely taste it. There was more lettuce than needed. It was like a lettuce sandwich because that's all I could taste. Tomato was definitely thicker than the patty. It was ridiculous. Tried the peach ginger drink and it was pretty good but way too sweet. There were several employees but I guess none were assigned to clean up the dining area. There were way too many tables that weren't clean -not to mention the food all over the floor. It's nice inside and there is plenty of seating both indoors and out but it's ridiculous when there are several open tables but your option is cut to one because they're all still dirty. Also, it had rained but the weather had improved and I saw a guest outside cleaning the water off of one of the outdoor tables for his family. Every May 28, Americans celebrate National Hamburger Day. Habit Burger continues to be a consistent performer in the upscale burger arena and so my partner and I came to this place for dinner. This Teterboro-based location wasn't packed due to the weather and it took about 20 minutes from ordering to receive our food. We ordered the chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce and grilled onions, sweet potato fries, their single char-burger and onion rings. The staff were very nice and courteous. They give you this little beeper and will go off when your food is ready for pickup at the counter. The burger and chicken arrived warm, seasoned well and tasty. Our fries and rings were cooked to perfection. For those keeping calories score, they are listed along each item on the menu board. Saturday is errand day for me so generally at some point I am looking for a low carb quick meal which doesnt break the bank or make me feel guilty because it is so unhealthy. Last weekend I ended up at the place next door to Habit and I was a little disappointed. Yesterday boy did I make the right decision! I had an awesome salad at Habit I have eating a lot of poultry so I was looking for a salad with beef. So many places only offer chicken as your protein option. Habit will add steak or fish for an additional $4 to their garden salad. Avocado is another $1 and if you enjoy avocado you just got to go for it. Habit had a really nice free pepper bar so I added 2 types and a few lime wedges. I went with their ranch dressing and it was totally delicious. They also have a few different hot sauces you can add but those fresh pepper are the bomb! I donated 2 dollars to a charity and got a coupon for a free burger on my next visit in total spent $12.01. It was busy and I had to wait a little while but Habit planned their space well They give you a buzzer, have outdoor seating and a large cushioned bench so waiting is pleasant. While waiting I observed a crew which was on top of their game. Cleaning, refilling, checking, and stepping in or up when needed. It was a positive experience which makes you feel good. I will be making a habit of coming to Habit burger more often. That salad was tasty ! Plus the server did not even blink or give me a pregnant pause when I asked exacty what was in it.
