Lastly my pizookie was to go so I ordered it without ice cream but there are no strawberries and it's undercooked. This is unacceptable. Please do better and today is my birthday. Not a great experience for my first time at this location. The Nanuet, NY location was so much better. The presentation of the sandwich could have been better; it needed to be aligned more symmetrically. Toffee, pretzel bites, and white & dark chocolate chip morsels were mixed into the warm caramel cookie. The confection was topped with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Drinks were good, service was good, even for a holiday. I second guessed ordering ribs and I was right to. Took a long time to come out. Very dry, lacking sauce to the point where I asked for a side of sauce. Definitely not a fall off the bone finish. The broccoli had zero flavor and didn't seem fully cooked. The only saving grace were the cheddar mashed potatoes. I'm hoping I simply ordered the wrong meal here but it was a rough meal indeed. I have passed on BJ's so many times for other restaurants in the Teterboro area and not i realize what a big mistake that was!!!!! BJ's is a cool spot with a nice menu!!! They have good deals like the $13 meal deal that includes their infamous pizzoki. I got there early for a weekday lunch. Our server Sema was nice. I got the $6 house margarita and she added a flavor on the house so i ended up with a strawberry one which was really good!!!! I love a under $10 cocktail in this economy lol. We started with the sampler which included sliders, mozzarella sticks, wings and spinach dip! All so good but that Spinach dip was the star of the sampler plate lol. For my entree i got the crispy chicken sandwich and it was massive!!!! The chicken was crispy on the outside and so tender and juicy on the inside!! The broche bun was so fluffy!!! They kinda skimped me on the honey mustard but not a deal breaker lol. They also have good fries and coleslaw (im a coleslaw fan) . My hubby got the meat lovers pizza. It was loadedddd!!! Came here on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and I've never seen the place more packed! Finding parking was a mission in itself. Nonetheless we got seated quickly and didn't wait long for our server to great us. The place was clean and bustling with noise from people talking and the music playing throughout the restaurant. Our server checked in on us occasionally, but was not overbearing. To start, we opted for the giant pretzel which was delicious! Theirs is a bit sweet - the pretzel itself - and the beer cheese and mustard they give you with it are both amazing. I had the sliders with cheese as my meal. The food was great! The service was very good. The wait for a table felt like a lifetime. We were only a party of 3 but it did take a solid 30 minutes for a table (in all honesty, way better than the estimated 1 hour wait). It was a Friday evening and it was crowded, so it was understandable that we had to wait so long for a table. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone which is really cool. I got the honey siracha brussel sprouts with white cheddar mashed potatoes and they were both delicious. The brush sprouts were perfectly cooked without being burnt. The mashed potatoes tasted better than it looked. My daughter enjoyed her Mac and cheese, very generic predictable and satisfying (exactly what kids love). The pizookie was a massive treat, the 3 of us didn't get to finish half of it. I wasn't crazy about the blue ice cream, I know it was just color but it didn't taste great. The cookie was good though. I discovered an excellent Happy Hour and it's at BJ's Brewhouse. It was full of happy patrons and the stools at their large bar were occupied, as well. Our Server, Natalie, did an outstanding job. Her recommendation for the mini pizza was spot on and her service was commendable. My classic Margarita was served in a large glass, was...ahem...STRONG and the thick salt rim was very much appreciated. We started with my favorite BJ's appetizer, the Honey-Sriracha Brussel Sprouts. I enjoy the crispness of each sprout and there is sufficient honey-sriracha sauce for every forkful of goodness. For the first time, I had the deep dish mini pizza. This is probably a 3.5 star rating, rounded up. Mostly agree with the other reviews here. This was the most common after church spot to come with my family at b/c of the convenient location. Located in the teterboro plaza near the Costco that is always crowded. There is a parking lot by the restaurant so you won't have trouble, however it may take you a good while to get out of the plaza because of the traffic. Expect a long wait on the weekends especially if you come with a group. Food is generally decent. Their black bean burger & fries are always solid, and I absolutely love their Pazookie dessert. Haven't had drinks here very often but generally found them to be comparable with the other chains in the area. Their pizza is decent but really doesn't have enough sauce even for the style they are going for. I'd compare their pizza to Pizzeria Uno for those familiar with that chain, but I'd give the Uno the edge when it comes to pizza. I might have tried a couple of sandwiches but nothing else truly stood out. They previously had an appetizer that I loved but sadly took off the menu before long. I will forever mourn the Bruschetta Bites (would seriously dine in for this item alone). Service however is where I felt this location lacks. Usually deal with a good bit of attitude and service is extremely slow. I know they are busy but expect to spend a LONG time waiting for food and refills so this is not the place to go for a quick meal. The bathrooms are not clean either. What brings me back half the time is the dessert alone. They always have seasonal flavors and while I haven't tried them all, this is what I feel they do best. read more

Updating my review - we visited today to support our town's cheer fundraiser. We arrived around 1pm on a Wednesday and were seated right away (party of 6). It was fairly quiet at first but then music came on (at a decent volume) which we loved because they played some good country songs. Our waiter was great - he was super attentive, friendly, and got all orders correct. Everything came out at a decent time. The kids all enjoyed their food. My partner was not crazy about the wings but he loves wings and has high standards. I didn't try them. He also ordered mozzarella sticks which none of us at the table liked. That was pretty disappointing. But other than that, we all liked our food. I ordered a full rack ribs with garlic seasoned vegetables and loaded mashed potatoes. The loaded mash wasn't as flavorful as I hoped but the meal overall was good. I would order that again. I signed up for the BJs rewards prior to arrival and I was able to redeem the free pizookie offer. We tried the brownie one without walnuts. It was ok. I'd probably try another next time. We went to BJ's Restaurant to celebrate my granddaughter's 30th birthday. BJ's was freezing cold, literally. I was assured by the waiter that he would inform the manager, who would take care of it, so we ordered appetizers and dinner. Unfortunately, we had to put our coats and gloves back on despite multiple complaints; nothing was done. It took 3 hours to get our orders. The manager came and offered us a free bowl of soup or free coffee. He claimed that he had to leave the door open because a man had a seizure in the doorway and could not be moved. He blatantly lied. The man was outside the window. EMS was there and was treating him. It took 3 HOURS for our meal to be served and eaten.....unacceptable. Poor conditions, extreme delays, and dishonesty from management. I always wondered why this restaurant was never really busy like its neighbors, Texas Roadhouse and Chick-fil-A. Now I know why, and I hope you do as well. Never again. In case you are wondering why we stayed, my granddaughter was with us, and wanted a quick meal in order to see her other grandmother, who was in the ICU at St. Mary's. Visiting hours are over at 8 PM, and then she had to catch her flight back to Florida. Honestly, I went here about a week ago, and I had one of the worst restaurants experience I've ever had in my life, I was out with a couple of my friends, and we had taken almost a 30 minute ride to try the new s'mores Pazooki. We're not kids or anything. I was with a group of four ranging from the ages of 17 to 20. We had sat down and the server, had started all very nice until she found out that we had just been ordering dessert. Her mood completely shifted on us. We had gotten the s'mores Pazooki and the Ghirardelli chocolate Pazooki. I've had food here before and it's not really my thing, but I do in fact like their desserts. The kitchen did do a lovely job, but the server was so incredibly rude. The minute she found out that we were just ordering dessert. Her mood absolutely changed in a second. She was rude and no longer welcoming. She brought us our drinks, waters and cokes, and when our Pazooki came out, she placed them on the table and walked away without a word. We finished them pretty quickly and our drinks as well. She never came back over to check or ask if we wanted anything else and a couple minutes later she threw the check onto the table and didn't say a word didn't stop to walk and ask if you wanted anything else didn't say here's your check pay whenever you'd like legitimately placed a piece of paper on the table and walked away. She was so incredibly rude to us coming from someone who also works in the service industry. I would never treat someone like this. The Pazooki's were good, but honestly, it ruined my entire experience as much as I like to say that I do like their dessert. I don't think I'll be going back it ruined my entire experience sometimes it doesn't matter how good the food or dessert is when you're being treated with such disrespect I was so unhappy honestly Not only did it ruin my experience, but it ruined my entire day. I went to BJ's to fulfill a dessert craving. I've heard so much about pizookies, and I decided yesterday was the time to finally try it. I couldn't resist trying the pizookie flight to get a little taste of three different options, especially when the pricing was worth it to try 3 different flavors. They were all pretty good, and I know I would be happy to go back and get a full-sized pizookie some time soon. As for the restaurant itself, it was much bigger and busier than I expected, but with a good vibe. There is a sports bar area and a seated dining area, and it seemed to be fairly normal for people to just pop by for a dessert and head out. I'll definitely be heading back on a Tuesday night for the $5 pizookies! - monkey bread: cinnamon-y and delicious! it was so hot the ice cream turned into liquid almost immediately - strawberry shortcake: good, but personally my least favorite of the three.
