Every time I go into Habitat for Humanity to look around Mike has been there with a smile me find what I need! I asked him the other day if he had any recliners and he went in the back and took a picture to show me the recliner. He also helped my daughter find what she wanted. This location is much larger than the ones in our area, although I do feel like my local location is better on pricing on most items. I felt like their appliances were decently priced, but all of their smaller items and much of the furniture was priced where it likely sticks around there for a bit before it moves. This location also didn't have much as far as leftover building materials and similar, which I thought was more their primary staple. Either way, it's still worth the stop, but don't plan to find the deal of the day here. read more

Came here to donate two bookshelves which was very easy and the worker even unloaded them both himself so that was extremely helpful for donating. I had previously went to a goodwill that said they were at full capacity so I am appreciate of the help in being able to donate. I did also walk around and they had a lot of toys available. Majority of the toy items were priced higher than shopping in stores so not sure why. The furniture here always has great deals. Nothing I needed today as I was there to make a donation. Would like to see better pricing for the non furniture items. Will still definitely come here for any furniture needs to see. As I've been here before and got our table here for a very good price. read more

Went to see if they had some exterior paint for a mural I'm doing in the backyard. I was able to find the paint I needed as well as a rug and some picture canvases. The store had a lot of eclectic find, vintage vines, stuff to redo, decorate and design your house. The staff were pretty friendly. There's no actual layout of the store, things are just neatly placed wherever they go. All in all I do recommend, prices were decent. Some items were overpriced, but majority were decent price. Looooove this place! My new discovery! Well.... my friend's spot but I knew nothing about it. I tagged along with her for some errands and we came here. Why didn't I know about this spot!?!? Its like a high end goodwill for furniture! Do you know how much money I could have saved in the past if I knew about this spot? Matching lamps $10 a piece. Like new, stair-masters for $85. Sectionals, love seats, bar stools, tables you name it! I didn't need anything but when I'm ready to make some changes, I'll be back! They even have a "free" section. Yep. Free. I have shopped here multiple times and the workers and volunteers there are very friendly and extremely helpful. The two workers that stand out for me were Mike and Samantha. They always helped me out with any questions and concerns. I once pointed out a piece of furniture that I recognized and liked was priced more than the original retail price. Once I showed Mike he did not hesitate to help with a price adjustment. It's becoming a habit for me to show up every week now! 100% recommend. If you dont find anything you like one week then they will definitely have something for your taste the next week. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know! read more

Have become a fan of the Habitat for Humanity ReStores the last couple of years and got the chance to check this branch in Bellflower while in the area... 3 stars!!! As with other ReStores, you never know what you'll find and this store has a pretty good selection of donated furniture, housewares, and even appliances looking for a new home. Why buy brand new when there's probably better quality furniture waiting for a new home! You can even find surplus flooring material and even paint! The store is also pretty clean and organized, thanks to hardworking staff. Compared to other ReStores, however, this store is housed inside a warehouse without AC, with only a couple of industrial fans providing ventilation on a day that we were having a heat wave! Make sure to visit when the weather is good. Although I didn't find anything during my visit, I'll be sure to come back if I'm in the area, even during a heat wave. There are plenty of parking spots available so parking will not be an issue. This store also takes donations for household items of yours that may need a new home. read more

I am a fire victim and went to the Bellflower location today. I wasn't treated that well. The man who brought me back to where the donated items are for the victims was not very nice. There was a mattress protector that I know they are giving out and he wouldn't give it to me! Also the prices are way too high at this location. You can get much better prices on Amazon and it's brand new! I like the Torrance store...they are very nice and helpful! I was so disappointed with the people working at this location! read more

Great experience from start to finish donating our furniture to ReStore. We really appreciated Leo and Jeff's prompt, friendly, and professional pickup service. They were also quite impressive with their maneuvering of Truck 5 while parking on our very narrow, hilly road. They USED to be my go-to place for misc items but their prices have gotten ridiculous. Whoever's in charge of prices should rethink their methods when the prices are more expensive or the same as Homegoods, Hobby Lobby and Craigslist or OfferUp. Seriously. I saw a set of 4 planters marked at $70 and I thought it was for the set (like it usually was). You can imagine my shock when it was 70+45+50+35. Each were marked separately and they weren't made of some solid material. They were made of resin. That's the price Hobby Lobby has them brand new (without the nicks & scrapes) for the same price. Now hobby lobby has 50% off so that makes Habitats pricing almost double of what you can get them on sale elsewhere. It's become a waste of time to go there. The items even when "new" aren't of in-store condition but they're still asking almost retail on most of their things. They'll claim it's a 7k couch (but it's the worst possible color like orange) and still want $3600. Are you kidding me? Save your time & go elsewhere. This is the most expensive Restore I've ever been to. The rest have kept their pricing right. This one is uber expensive compared to the others and it's not worth the trip. Used to shop there once a month about a year ago, today was my last trip. Total waste of time. read more

It was simple and easy to donate to Habitat for Humanity. You make a phone call, discuss items to donate, send pictures, and then schedule the appointment. Available scheduling time was quick. When they arrived, the movers quickly moved the items and were on their way. It's nice to know that items once owned by my parents will be put to good use by someone else.
