This is the location where you can find information to sponsor a child, buy a particular gift, or volunteer your time wrapping presents or helping with the organization. They also are available year-round (not sure on the times) for donation drop-offs. In the spring they focus on helping foster kids placing out of the program with items they will need for college or a place of their own, or guidance from helpful volunteers. This is a wonderful organization and I recommend looking into volunteering for them if you have the means.

The Detroit bad girls hosted a Christmas light tour and all attendees donated items in support of the macomb Foster closet. All new unwrapped toys and clothes. In addition to gently used coats and other clothing items. In Jan they will be providing an orientation seminar for individuals to volunteer at this site throughtout the coming year.

I spent $80 and got so many beautiful clothes and glassware, scarves. Staff was so nice and attentive. They have new stuff donated everyday, too. Lots of Furniture too! There usually is a sale on one color tag-50% off. Sundays they have a 99 cent sale . Please consider donating your used clothes and housewares.
