Before walking in they take your temperature, the store had maybe 5 people shoping inside. Been here a few times always hoping to find something I can not live without. They had alot of furniture, the prices are higher than you would think, even with a half off sale it would still be high. They did have some different pieces if you needed beds there were a few to pick from. My husband asked about some lawn equipment they were selling. The employee wasn't sure if there was a guarantee, because you can not start anything to see. They say it works but you want to make sure. He came back and said there was no guarantee. That's crazy. So they didn't make a sale. They did have some good prices on books, I love cookbooks and always see if there is one I have to have. I found a bread book all different recipes, hard cover for just fifty cent and in great shape! My Mom found a few things she was happy with. Some items are way over priced and if you read other reviews we are not the only one who thought the same thing. Overpriced. Overpriced. Overpriced. There are a lot of items still for sale that were there over a year ago when I first went in this place. When I stopped by today they had a used table from Ikea priced higher than it costs brand new. Who wants a dirty, scratched up table for above retail prices? I'm not sure sure who is in charge of pricing things here, but they should be fired immediately as they are clearly incompetent and not on top of things. read more

One of my favorite places to shop for things for the house. This location has alot of office furniture, cabinets, appliances,doors/windows and glassware. One of my most favorite things here is the book section. The recently got a donation of turn of the century books (not this century but the last one). And they often have vintage cookbooks which has become a passion of mine. The only thing that is lacking is a substantial outdoor section, with stuff for the yard. Staff is very friendly and the bathrooms are superclean! Tip: Check the dates...the advertised price is discounted if it's 30, 60 and over 90 days old! read more

Was sexually harassed by two male employees there. Would not stop hitting on me and my fiancé. Once we politely told them that we were engaged, they began trying to convert us from being gay and saying we just "hadn't had a black man yet." What they don't know is that I've been abused by more than one black man before, but they don't care because they were trying to make us afraid and scared. Proceeded to say that it was "hot that we kissed girls", but were just "going through a phase" and "weren't really gay." Finally, wouldn't stop asking questions about our sex life and for details regarding that. It was an incredibly scary, disgusting, violating, and uncomfortable experience. I am disgusted that I won't be able to return to shop because it isn't a safe place for gay people. I will never shop here again and I highly encourage others to find somewhere else too. read more

Totally overpriced for a thrift store. Same stuff sits for months because it is overpriced. The fun of going to a thrift store is to see new stuff and find a bargain. Because something is for sale at an overpriced price at replacements limited doesn't mean they should change anything similar. They are selling to the world and shipping it to them. Oh the Humanity!! (Get it? Hardee - har-har) This is a very large Habitat for Humanity Store. An antique/high dollar section up front followed by shelves chock full of books. The main floor is loaded full of large furniture and large items ranging from the usual: desks, sofas, coffee tables, hutches to the unusual: exam tables, sinks and toilets. What do I spy with my little eye? Brand new NODA and Brawley pint glasses? Score!! Cashiers are fast and professional. My pint glasses were even lovingly wrapped in newspaper. I find it impossible not to visit this place whenever I am in the area. The store is fairly large and the selections are very impressive. There is even a silent auction area up front for what could be called high ticket items. Some of the standouts here were a violin, antique luggage, jewelry and electronics. The thing that sticks out here is how well the store is organized. In some thrift stores, you get the feeling that "stuff" is just thrown into a space to keep it out of the weather, That is not the case here. The place is merchandised as well as any retail store. I am especially impressed with the book section. It has been meticulously organized and they even have a dedicated staff member to help you locate topics of interest. The household project section is also full of great finds. I have been able to complete four projects with items located here. Cabinets, tile, plumbing, counter-tops: all if those are here, Once again, all perfectly organized. The staff members here get very high marks as well. They are knowledgeable, professional and willing to help in any way including helping you load larger items if they have someone on staff who can literally do the heavy lifting. I feel good about shopping here. It helps to re-purpose items and supports the local community. This place is a win all the way. read more

I was very disappointed. It was not the same it use to be. The man was helpful about finding some prices on stuff in a section that had stuff blocked for you not to go in to so you could look at stuff. He told me the woman that was in charge of that section was not there but was expecting her there anytime. Well while I was standing there she came in. He asked her about an item and she told him to look it up on google to see what it was worth! She told him that someone removed the price sticker on it. I felt like she was blaming me and I was not in that section because it was blocked and said do not enter! She never would even look at me when I waited for a price so I walked off looking at the other items in the store. I could not believe the prices. I went passed the woman again and she never even looked at me so I went to the front at the register. I asked the woman at the front if they changed owners in there and she said yes. I told her I knew something was different about it and she asked me if something was wrong. I said yes...Your prices are rediculous! She said to me do you think $65 is too much for something. I believe she saw me put an item back for that price. I told her yes and she told me she did not think I could go anywhere else for better prices. I told her that I could and that I knew where other places were to get better prices. As I was walking out the door she was fixing to check someone out and I said to her that the woman was very rude too that was working in there and she asked me who it was and I said the woman in charge of that section over there.
