You can still get great deals at Salvation Army. They even have sales according to the color of the tags. They've got lots of great vintage and retro stuff, as well as a funky selection of housewears. The store is a little shabby, and could use a good clean, but it's AUTHENTIC. Love it.

I was not comfortable handing over my valuables to a stranger, and I politely expressed that concern. What made the situation even more upsetting was that when I said the bag belonged to my mom, the issue suddenly disappeared and nothing more was said. The inconsistent treatment left me feeling singled out and unfairly targeted. The entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and frankly discriminated against. Policies should be applied consistently to every customer, not selectively. I left with a very negative impression of the business and would not recommend shopping here based on my experience.

For a girl like me who drools over anything from the 50s and 60s you with think you've gone to heaven. She has everything from furniture to little nick-naks and kitchen goodies to a few racks of lovely clothing as well. Plus the owner is one of the sweetest ladies who is very knowledgeable and always willing to keep an eye out if you're looking for something very particular. Her dogs that have their own little nest behind the counter are super cute as sweet as well. The town needs more little shops and great owners like this!
