We were coming back from buying some cabinets from a craigslist seller in East Lansing. This store suddenly appeared and we skated the car to a stop. Did we have any more room in the car? Not really. But we had to see if there was anything that we needed,of course. As long as we are in the mode of fixing up the kitchen. We could not believe how clean and organized this particular Habitat for Humanity Restore was. Much better than the Ann Arbor store, and we told the man who was working there that... And he smiled a big grin. I think anybody in the East Lansing area appreciates a little friendly competitive comparison with A2. As much as I love my city, there is a particular up-north, pine tree & country charm to the greater Lansing area. Everything in the store was organized, well-stocked, clean and usable. There was a lot of construction materials and doors and a really big outside light section that was so well organized, it looked like Menards. We definitely have to drive by here again and see if there's anything else that we need. Of course, like all resale shops, the stock here changes all the time. But this one is definitely a do not miss! read more
