La ubicación privilegiada del hotel en el corazón de la ciudad lo hizo conveniente para explorar todas las atracciones cercanas. Desde el momento en que llegué, me impresionó la cálida bienvenida y el servicio impecable proporcionado por el personal del hotel. El proceso de registro fue sin problemas, y el personal hizo todo lo posible para asegurarse de que se satisficieran todas mis necesidades durante mi estancia. La habitación estaba muy bien decorada, con una decoración moderna y unas vistas impresionantes del horizonte de la ciudad. From the personalized greeting gift and custom welcome plaque to the warm welcome by the owner, we felt as if our arrival had been excitedly anticipated. This was to be our vacation home for the next several days. Our large suite consisted of a luxurious sleeping room with an attached sitting area for relaxing and reading. The beautiful decorations and artwork, sumptuous bedding, personal fridge and microwave, plus a beautiful work desk are only a partial description of our vacation domain. The bathroom had a roomy jetted tub and spacious shower, along with personal robes, plentiful linen and thoughtfully included toiletries in case we had forgotten anything. Take a look on their website to see what I mean. Ours was a very personalized experience. Guests never feel crowded, because Bellissimo's offers just 3 suites in the main building, one detached casita off the private pool plus an amazing and huge penthouse suite located on the very top level. We also spent time visiting with Linda, the creator and proprietor of this mini-resort, and were amazed at the detail and extra touch that were included in the design and development of the boutique hotel. Each morning we were served a masterpiece breakfast consisting of bountiful fresh fruit dishes, plus master-chef entrees of omelets or any of a number of other custom cooked specialties. Bellissimo's is located in the historic center of Ajijic, a one-time fishing village on the shore of Lake Chapala. It is just an 8-minute stroll from the hotel to the lakeshore walk, which features small outdoor markets, restaurants and picnic areas where local families mix with visitors in a most friendly setting. Ajijic is about a 40-minute drive from Guadalajara, the 2nd largest city in Mexico. This was our first, but definitely not our last visit to Bellissimo's.

First floor consists of a kitchen, dining room, and two separate little reading rooms. There's also a small lap pool. Bedrooms are all in the second floor. The third floor is where the owner lives. With your stay, a good breakfast is served, home cooked by the staff there in their kitchen. As me and my family have stayed there a couple of times, we've come to learn that you can request why the main dish can be. Regardless, it's alway three courses, a plate of sliced fresh fruit, oatmeal, and main dish. Location is great, lake front and only a short one block away from the main road down the middle of Chapala town. They also have a small private parking lot for their guests. If needed, they are able to pick you up from the Guadalajara airport, tho I would not necessarily recommend this. It's not what they really do in a normal basis. Every time we visit family in Chapala, we always check to see if they have rooms available and if yes, that's where we stay.

I can't thank cabanas bosque enough. They were affordable, personable and super accommodating. They even let me bring my dog :) thank you!!!

Our room was the suite too which by the way the jacuzzi is disgusting and we wore sandals the whole time we showered. When room service would clean our room they always forgot to either leave new towels and to put bags in the trash cans for trash after the dirty bags were removed. Every single employee blamed another for the problems. The women in charge never did anything to fix the issues. There was only one person at night that was an elderly man that was very polite and would tell us the problems the hotel had and why. On the 5th night we needed new towels and one of the employees had us wait an hour till they dried only to find out that there was no towels because the dryer was broken. Over all I would never recommend this place at all for the prices either it is not with it. Spanish translation- El peor lugar de su servicio es horrible. Pagué la estancia con 2 meses de antelación, cuando llegué el cabezal de la ducha estaba roto. La puerta del baño no se cerraba. Nuestra habitación también era la suite que, por cierto, el jacuzzi es asqueroso y llevábamos sandalias todo el tiempo que nos duchamos. Nos quejamos todos los días y nos llevó 4 días arreglar el cabezal de la ducha y la puerta. El WiFi no funcionaba en absoluto. Cuando el servicio de habitaciones limpiaba nuestra habitación, siempre se olvidaban de dejar toallas nuevas y de poner las bolsas en los botes de basura para la basura después de quitar las bolsas sucias. Cada empleado culpó a otro por los problemas. Las mujeres a cargo nunca hicieron nada para solucionar los problemas. Solo había una persona por la noche que era un hombre mayor que era muy educado y nos contaba los problemas que tenía el hotel y por qué. La 5a noche necesitábamos toallas nuevas y uno de los empleados nos hizo esperar una hora hasta que se secaran solo para descubrir que no había toallas porque la secadora estaba rota. Sobre todo, nunca recomendaría este lugar por los precios tampoco.
