Silver Bakery is very close to the Cozy Inn and Mountain Gate family restaurants but there's NO SIGN, so if you're not looking for it you won't notice it's there. I can't imagine they make a living from walk-ins buying a pastry or two, so they must do most of their business in wedding cakes and catering. I thought the best of the 3 was the blueberry, but was outvoted for apple in our group. Filling was thickened and sticky, not overbearingly sweet. Pie crust was crumbly on the edges and top, and little doughy and thick on the bottom; a little texture from the crystal sugar sprinkled on top. Overall, pretty good specimens, would stop by if it's on your way.
