There is'nt an easy job when it comes to changing your tire on a custom 24 inch wheel. I was merging onto 696 East from M5. I had my blinker on and their driver purposely sped up to NOT let me merge in and ran me off the road. When I called dispatch, I was told it wasn't his driver's responsibility to let me merge in. I wouldn't have been run off the road if he had NOT SPED UP to keep me from merging. Call them first if you're stuck bad. Went down a snowy road I shouldn't have and spent 4 hours out there. Would've been more like 2 if I called Hadley's first, as they had a 4x4 that could easily go down the snowy icy road. Before that there was two other towing companies that passed me on to the other. It was $225 for a half mile tow out, and I learned my lesson. at first the one guy was a bit mad and told me if he got stuck he wouldn't try again, which was really unnecessary and anxiety inducing. I hired Hadley's to flatbed transport a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang from Northville to Wixom. Hadley's was my first choice as I was always impressed how clean their trucks were - I figured since they take such good care of their trucks, they must be the same with customer's vehicles. Feldman Chevrolet of New Hudson uses this service, and I have already requested they drop them. I made a call after speaking to the dealership when my car died. I was told 1 1/4 hours for tow truck arrival. When ETA passed, I called back (they never called as a courtesy when the time passed) and was told they were at the dealership (~6 miles away) and they were coming to me next. 40 minutes later, still nothing. My car eventually started back up again so I carefully made my way to the dealership. I called this place after I arrived as a courtesy that I didn't need their service anymore. The man got argumentative on the phone and started lying about what I was told, and then they hung up. This is NOT a company you want representing you at a dealership. Fail. read more

Call Hadley's towing first if you need quick assistance and fantastic service! I had a flat tire on the side of I-96 at night on a Wednesday. I initially called AAA first because I pay for a membership that provides roadside assistance but AAA never sent anyone. I called AAA several times during my 3 hours of waiting and they said I was a priority but no one ever called or came. Frustrated by AAA's response, I called Hadley's towing and they responded immediately by arriving within 15 minutes of my call and getting me off the highway safely. I should have called them earlier! Colin was the service tech that helped me and he went the extra mile for towing my car safely off the highway and helping me in the middle of the night while it was raining. I personally loved the long announcement when you call since it gives you all the pertinent information you would need. My car was towed while I was out of town for a snow emergency and Hadley's was really nice about it. Great customer service on the phone and in person. Horrible service, they must have people write fake reviews on here. So unprofessional and rude. Have talked with others who have experiences with them and everyone agrees that they were terrible. They will do anything to scam you and get your money. They lost my information and almost had me pay fees for someone else's car. They couldn't figure out what location my car was even at (the Michigan State police had my car towed after an accident and told me Hadley's was taking it, but not which location). I owed them $800 for storing my car and they were going to keep my car (worth hundreds for scraps and parts, plus all new tires). They wouldn't let me take anything from the car or even take my brand new tires (I was just going to sign over my title to them and let them keep it). They are money hungry and are very unaccommodating and rude. I didn't talk to one staff member that was understanding and helpful. Everyone I talked to was very condescending and impatient. I've seen a lot of these positive reviews but I will tell you these guys have lied to us. After a tragic accident we were told by them and the police that as long as the vehicle was being held by law enforcement for investigation there were no impound fees. We got the run around for weeks from the police and then when we are told to go get it they say oh no You owe close to $1000.00 But if you sign the title over well give you some off the bill. If this is how they earn their money, by deceiving those already in hardship then shame on them. Lesson learned just go get your vehicle and don't let anyone send you in circles. Horrible service! Had to have my truck towed. The manager (Fred) is rude, and prices are ridiculous. Truck was at their yard overnight (but less than 24 hours) and they charged me storage for 2 days. I recently had some car trouble where I was stuck in heavy traffic during rush hour. I finally was able to get pulled over at a nearby gas station. I decided I would call a towing company to get my car towed home where I could fix the issue. I looked up local tow companies. I ended up calling Hadley's. I told the jerk on the phone I was having major car issues and I needed a tow. I explained my issue and he got smart with me. He stated that I should sit and wait for traffic to die down and then try to drive my car. He said he would take my money if I really needed a tow. He stated that it was smarter if I sat for an hour instead of paying $150 for a tow of 7 miles It's like I really needed a ride and this A**hole wanted me to sit and wait for traffic to slow down and drive my car instead of coming to help me. I just hung up on him and decided to have someone come get me and tow the car the next day. *Beware*!!!!! Their Tow Truck driver punctured our oil pan over a YEAR ago and still has NOT paid for the repairs! We hit black ice, spun hitting the guard rail and never went in a ditch, totally stayed on the road. Car was still running with NO leaks. We went to pick it up and in their yard right where the car sat, there was chunks of metal and all the oil from the oil pan was on the ground! I spoke with other tow companies and they said CLEARLY THEY punctured it! They claimed they did not do it, LIES! Owner has been dodging me ever since, guess we need to go to court. After quite the traumatic accident, my car was completely undrivable and Hadley's Towing honestly saved the day. Typically, I would have called my insurance carrier's Roadside service dispatch but they had me on hold for a while. While on hold, the police officer on the scene kindly offered the services of their contracted towing service and said they would take me to my collision place down the road. It was very kind of him to offer and I accepted. The towing company (Keffords) came onsite and refused to take my car to my collision shop siting they could only take it to their personal lot until the insurance company had told them otherwise. Well I was on the phone with my insurance company as he said this and even the rep said, "I have never heard of that in my life". So he told me would check with dispatch and let me know. So he jumped in his truck, and drove away, and never came back to tell me whether or not he could tow my car. Thankfully, I googled towing companies near me, and Hadley's came up!
