Nothing wrong w/that tooth according to another dentist. Saved myself $6k PLUS I still have the tooth. Very disappointed as they came highly recommended from a friend. After switching to a new dentist who is professional, has beautiful offices, and very detail oriented, I found out that the appointment with Feldstein that I missed because his staff didn't remind me 5 days after returning from vacation was a blessing in disguise. After an thorough exam and a full set of new xrays ($300. for over 25 xrays, I was shocked at the reasonable pricing and my insurance easily paid for it). My new dentist informed me that I had no cavities and there was nothing that needed attention at this time. All of my teeth including the one Feldstein was going to put a "new" crown on and charge me over $1400. was in good condition and certainly was not in need of replacement. ??? OK, now I am wondering if this is a practice of Feldsteins, when he needs more billings he simply invents a "NEEDED" procedure? How many people get a second opinion on dental work? Not many would be my guess, I certainly never did as I always trusted a dentist to be honest with me and not charge for things that did not need to be done. Well now I know, and would never been the wiser had I not gotten a second opinion. How many of his current patients, I'm wondering are getting this same "professional" treatment? forewarned is forearmed

PLEASE TRUST THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS!!! This place is absolutely the worst. First cleaning I had them…read morewith painful, something I've never experienced in 38 years worth of dental appointments. They told me it was my age (I'm in my thirties), which is BS. I've had cleanings since that were normal and painless. But let's talk about today. I booked an appointment for 1:30. I got sent thirty texts to remind me about this appointment. I arrived at 1:10 and was the only person in the waiting room. For the next twenty minutes I waited, alone, and nothing happened. At 2:10, after seeing multiple people arrive quickly and just as quickly be taken back to be seen, I asked Joseph at reception what was happening. He gave a, "It is what it is, sorry, not sorry" reply. Why have five people who came in twenty minutes after me been seen before me? "There's only two dentists today," was the reply. There's simply no way that all of these people had appointments before me and got here after me. Someone messed up and no one wants to take responsibility. Joseph tells me he's spoken to the dentists and I will be the NEXT PERSON SEEN. This is an important detail. Who gets seen next? Not me! Who gets seen AFTER that person? Did you guess it wasn't me? You're correct!!! After that, I just wanted a reimbursement of the $57 fluoride they pre-charged me. Guess what? They can't do that because the right person isn't there! It's a miracle! You can't give me my money back for a treatment you didn't give me! I was told to call tomorrow and I'm eagerly awaiting the conversation where they try to tell me they can't give my money back for whatever scam reason they concoct. At that point, it'll be a BBB issue. To whichever bot or uncaring representative that replies to this review with a scripted, "We're so sorry, please contact us to work it out" message, don't bother. I'll be calling and fighting with this place tomorrow. Thanks for making me take time off from work for literally nothing but wasted gas and a scam charge for a treatment you didn't use. Soooo happy I missed making money for this.

Comforting, as I had 5 roots in one tooth. This allowed them to know what they were dealing with in advance of my root canal (which is fairly important). Dr Lucier worked on my teeth and she has SUCH a gentle touch with her anesthesia needle. Every other needle I've ever had was WILDLY painful (and dreaded on my part), but she put in just a little bit, let it get numb, then put in more, (which I didn't feel as it was numb) and slowly, so it really didn't hurt (all my other dentists did it all at once and usually had my eyes tearing with pain). Seriously, SUCH a treat! I had two root canals and they were so mellow. I honestly fell asleep during them. It was that comfortable. And btw, they were ready for me on time, moved me along quickly, but without hurrying, AND had a really nice waiting room with legitimately good reading material. Gang, I can not recommend these women enough. They are fantastic on all fronts.

BEWARE of this practice, post is long but worth the read…read more I had been a patient for 3 years at this practice, and while always satisfied with my care, things changed with the introduction of a new provider. October 2025 at my regular cleaning, they were "running behind because of the new provider" (quote from my Hygentist Bev). She rushed me in, cleaned my teeth, took new X-rays, and she was off to get the new dentist for the exam. He introduced himself, gave a 2-minute exam, said " nice to meet me and off to the next patient. After his departure, Bev informed me that I needed two crowns and they should be done as soon as possible, for fear of further damage. Interesting....I had not reported any changes or pain. Off to the checkout I go. Checking out the total for the day was $328.00. Evaluation $70, Bitewing Four Image $100, and Prophylaxis $158. The estimate I was given for the two crowns total $4640.00. Wait....you want me to invest $4640.00, allowing someone who spent less than 5 minutes with me doing the work? Nope, getting a second opinion. AND!! I called the office and spoke with the office manager, Pam, about my experience. She told me they would/could do the work at the current price because after the new year, prices go up 5%. Found my wonderful previous provider, made the appointment, arrange for x-rays to be transferred. (See my review at Concord Smiles, 13 Wall St., Dr. Dulock) New appointment, all was going well until I found I needed new X-rays, Schell Dentistry had failed to provide the latest October 2025 and Dr. Dulock needed to see if any changes. Schell's office sent 2023 and 2024, but not 2025! Those of course, were the most important to see the changes for the impending new crown diagnosis. New X-rays were taken and after comparing, Dr. Dulock saw no changes from 2023 and 2024; he felt no crowns were needed at this time. He did mention that perhaps at some point in the future these fillings might need replacing, but not now. Yay, Dr. Dulock, thanks for taking the time! Today, December 16, I called Dr. Schell's office and again spoke with Pam to let her know the October 2025 X-rays were not sent and there had been an "error" perhaps on their end in transferring my files. She put me on hold and when she came back, told me the files had just been transferred. Don't need them today; I needed them yesterday. Pam also informed me that Concord Smiles "could" have called for the X-rays yesterday. Honestly, it took me two phone calls due to a busy signal to talk to her. "We are busy" was her reply when I pointed that out. And when I also pointed out that had the new provider, Dr. Mahlik taken the time to examine my x-rays, perhaps he would have come to the conclusion that no crowns were needed? She, Pam, became very frustrated with me and accused me of being "mean"? Seriously, I thought I was very much under control and being polite based on the service their practice had given me. She did wish me a Happy Holiday or have a nice day wish, it was a brief comment before hanging up on me. Moral of the story - get a second opinion, I'm VERY glad I did.

Well, now you know, but you wouldn't have known if I hadn't told you. His hygienists were cool and for the first time ever explained why flossing daily is so important. I then started to floss daily. Dr. Schell wins! The staff does sorta rush you through and the end of the visit is awkward. Do I stand here? Do I pay? What do I do? Oh, please, somebody tell me I'm so LOST! Eventually they tell you to stand HERE and pay THIS. I also got my teeth whitened with the system where they make a mold of your teeth and the goop goes in the trays that are made from the mold. My trays were uncomfortable and I went back in and they adjusted them. And the goop made my teeth hurt and made me ultra sensitive to sound, which is weird, but I've met somebody else who had that happen to so I am NOT the only one. Anyway, the system worked well and my teeth are white as new snow in Enfield Center. Yay! I also thought it was cool that Dr. Schell was, at least when I saw him, on faculty at Dartmouth. Fancy. He did send my records quite expediently when I moved and changed dentists, and that was very nice. I would see Dr. Schell again, if I ever moved to NH again, which will NEVER ever ever happen. So maybe you can see Dr. Schell instead.
