I had to be transferred by ambulance from my home in Sequim when it was discovered that at 27 weeks I was in preterm labor. After my midwives called Swedish they got the cold shoulder. Swedish didn't want to accept the transfer. Luckily for me, I had then requested transfer to Evergreen Hospital where my preemie daughter was born and received the highest level of care. Dr. Wall was the physician who happily and without concern accepted the transfer, unlike Swedish. Dr. Wall visited me often during my 7 week bedrest at Evergreen, even called my room on days he couldn't physically get here to check in. His bed side manner is unbeatable. When my labor and condition were unknown, many other physicians would have not been able to instill the sense of confidence and compassion that Dr. Wall did. Throughout my stay I was visited by his other partners as well such as Dr. Walker who is also equally as warm, compassionate, and knowledgeable. At no point during this taxing dilemma did I feel even an iota of concern for me or my baby. Even during delivery, just when I thought I couldn't go further, Dr. Wall confidently and compassionately told me I could, with a soft and happy voice. Dr. Wall and his partners at Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine get the highest marks from me and my family for care that was so good it is almost hard to describe.

We moved to Rexburg, Id not long after, where I had my 2nd babe, AND one of the scariest "doctor" experiences I could imagine. The gal who delivered my 2nd was the local midwife's ASSISTANT - as the midwife (who'd been my "doctor" throughout the entire pregnanct) couldn't find the motivation to get to the hospital for the birth. Awesome. That was nice. We then moved to Rock Springs, WY for the majority of my 3rd pregnancy (horror stories abound from THAT place - though if you're in the market for an incredible family doc, Poyer is the way to go. She's fan-freakin'-tastic). And blessing of all blessings... we were back in Washington for the delivery of our 3rd. Do you have ANY idea how fabulous is was to be back in the knowledgeable and experienced hands of a REAL O.B.? Someone who not only knows what she's doing, but also knows how to treat her clients? My first trip back to her office, she popped into my room in between other patients, just to say, "I don't know if you remember me, but I had to come in and say hi!" I was already teary-eyed with excitement and sheer relief that I didn't have to deliver my babe in the hellhole that is Wyoming's Memorial Hospital (the building's nice, but the docs? Uh... wow). And then she has to be so stinkin' nice on top of it? I could hardly handle all the goodness that day held. And THAT is exactly why I came back to her for my 3rd little muchkin. She's brilliant. She will take care of and pamper you, not because it's part of her job - because it isn't - but because she really cares. And her nurse (Shout out to Vejay!!) is incredible. I literally can't say enough. Which is why this review is so long-winded. So, long story short... If I ever have another baby, I don't care where I'm living. I will be delivering with Dydell. Even if it means a cross-country flight and a three week stay in a local hotel. The peace of mind is worth whatever it takes to get to her.

The provider ordered redundant services while also dropping the ball on needed services (TSH monitoring and standard glucose test). The specialist tried to collaborate with my Eastside OB and did not have calls returned. I personally asked my provider to collaborate with the specialist and she flat out said no, she is too busy, and asked me medical questions instead. It was bizarre and unprofessional. Provider also told me they as a clinic do not like to collaborate with Evergreen MFM ever since those providers stopped doing the OB role. Again, bizarre and unprofessional.

She treated me for endometriosis years ago and did such a great job that I stayed relatively pain free for years and was able to have a 3rd baby just 21 months ago at age 41. We recently decided that a hysterectomy was the right choice for me because of some new issues and a high family risk of ovarian cancer. She did a great job during my surgery and I had a quick recovery and feel better then ever. She is also one of the kindest, most compassionate doctor I've ever been to. She is the only OB I will trust as she is conservative in terms of medication etc. I was lucky enough to deliver my baby when she was on call otherwise it would have been a C-section (really didn't want that and she knew it). I just LOVE her. Wherever she goes I'll follow. She also has a positive and calming attitude- really good bedside manners. I am a very anxious person and she was able to calm me down when necessary. We had choosen some delivery date for which Dr. Tun wasn't on-call. We are not sure if that was the reason or because the delivery was completed, Dr. Tun did not answered our queries properly post that and even didn't helped us with just increase in my wife's medication just for 1 month when I was struggling with Covid pandemic issue(I wasn't in USA that time). We mentioned to her the issue and got respond that she is not primary care and to contact primary care. This was very unpleasant that Care provider doesn't care for anything when she doesn't see money making opportunity in you and won't help you out irrespective of what the situation is. I strongly recommend to even not consider her, you can see the consequences later if a care provider is selfish, she can do anything when in need.

I really had no idea who she was and was just sort of driving blind. I ended up being really lucky in finding her. If you ever do a little research on her, you will find she's one of the best in the region, dedicated to her work, and surrounded by just as talented colleagues. From the beginning, she was kind and upfront. She remained honest and to the point. But still was able to act like a human being, something I see so little of in the medical world. Especially people as talented and sought after as Kelley. She really helped us through the difficult patches and ultimately at the delivery, knowing she was there and in charge helped put me at ease. I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have to finally write a review about my…read moreexperience with Dr. Hanrahan. When I still lived in Seattle, I had amazing insurance through Blue Cross. I found Dr. Hanrahan through here, of all places, read the reviews and watched her personal video on the Minor and James site. I had a good initial feeling and went ahead and made the appt. for my annual and Pap, etc. What was interesting during my first appt. with her was the way she reacted to my age (I was 35 at the time) and that I'd had one abnormal Pap in the recent past. I appreciated the concern at the time. Warning, the following might be TMI for some, but I think that it's important to understand all of the specifics of my visit(s) so that you can be as informed as possible if you're in a similar situation. My next test with her came out abnormal and she and Nurse Alicia informed me that I had moderate to severe dysplasia. This hadn't come up in the abnormal Pap from less than a year before and my previous doctor had only said to do a follow-up within the year. Ok, not panicking yet, but then Dr. Hanrahan immediately scheduled me for a biopsy asap. Biopsy is scheduled and I'm leaning toward the freakout end. I feel that she didn't do her best to answer my questions and that I had to Google a bunch of different topics related to the biopsy, etc., especially possible complications and recovery, et al. The biopsy that I had with Dr. Hanrahan was one of the worst experiences of my life. It was painful and I felt extremely uncomfortable. But wait, there's more....unfortunately. Biopsy definitely confirms the "moderate to severe dysplasia" and she schedules me for a LEEP procedure to remove the abnormal tissue. At this point, I'm envisioning dying of cervical cancer and I didn't care for her growingly blase attitude throughout the whole thing. The other thing was that she made an odd comment about a condition that I have and said "well, you're an odd case of PCOS, as you're one of the lucky ones that aren't overweight. Wow, just wow." Quote, unquote. I'm reminded of the timing and the tone of the comment being incredibly out of place. The LEEP procedure was quick and relatively painless, so at least that went well. However, the final straws are these. I went back for a follow-up Pap and exam. The follow-up pelvic exam was the most brutal that I've ever experienced in my entire life, no joke. She also said that she couldn't "find my cervix" and fumbled around for like 5 minutes. WTF? Really? She calls me within 2 weeks, says that the cells are back and she wants another biopsy, etc. The red flags completely went up for me as I had mentioned to Nurse Alicia during my last visit that my insurance would be running out (due to job change). I didn't call her back immediately and the next message she left tried to be ominous, basically chastising me about not acknowledging the severity of the situation with needing to get in asap, etc. Hmmm. My Spidey sense was tingling. I called her back shortly thereafter and left a message explaining that my insurance would run out by such and such time and that I was very concerned about the future and I'd appreciate her guidance and advice. Guess what? NO CALL BACK. I left a similar message a few weeks later, knowing that she's very busy and hard to see and all of that and guess what? Yup. She didn't bother calling me back at all. Ever. :( I moved out of town to Portland, OR and signed off to get my records from her for my new doctor last year. She only sent PARTIAL records, nothing after the biopsy, even after repeated attempts to get the complete records. Bizarre and incomprehensible, truly. I've since switched doctors (gotta love the insurance rigamarole) and I'm concerned that she'll do a repeat performance and not send everything. Not sure what to do if that happens, just short of marching back to Seattle and demanding my records in person so they can't keep ignoring me. Yes, this is a book and TMI, but if it can help anyone out there avoid something like this happening to them, so be it. Good luck with your future care.

Dr. Kupferman put me on three different types of hormonal birth control, all of which made me vomit…read moreprofusely. I took it upon myself to conduct a quick google search and found that all of the contraceptives she had prescribed contained both estrogen and progestin. Estrogen is not necessary for birth control to be effective and is known for causing nausea in women. As soon as I switched to a progestin-only pill, my side effects were gone. Apparently her medical degree did not prepare her to come to that conclusion on her own.

She is clearly checked out - told me she "doesn't do thyroids", so "only does vaginas" (whole…read moreperson approach? not so much). She dismissed all my menopause symptoms. Any 5 star ratings are either from long ago or established patients from back when she was engaged. I would not trust her with anything that needs attentive care.
