I saw all the certificates and awards as soon as I walked through the door and instantly I felt at…read moreease that my adorable dog would be safe in Pet Loges hands. However, when I returned 2 hours later, my worst nighmare had finally come into reality. My dog was now a unreconisable frankinstien; bushy tail, fluffly head, and butchered body which had been shaved to the skin and while my stomach was turning the pet lodge butcher laughted and suggested that she could have skinned his fur some more. The nightmare doesn't end here; I took him to the vets on the same day, after Pet Lodge, and they said his ears need cleaning- something which I had paid pet lodge to do. I now don't dare walk out in public with my dog. My dog has a serious complex with his new nakedness, and I feel like I have betrayed his trust that he put into me when I left him at Pet Lodge. He now keeps his head low to the floor and he sits curled up in the corner looking depressed- and I know it is Pet Lodge's doings as before I took him he was brimming with life and a very happy little confident- if not arrogant- dog.

Normally placid and with a lovely nature he turns into a he-devil when it comes to grooming... HOWEVER the staff at Pet Lodge deal with him admirably and he always looks and smells beautiful when he's done. If you don't want your dog to been shaved and there is no health reason for doing so just tell them - they do listen... I wouldn't go anywhere else now - always happy with the end results.

It's not really in my neck of the woods but I went with my friend once as she lives near it. The staff were really friendly and I remember her easily finding she wanted. It's not too expensive there either.
