Our apartment switch from PayRange to this shitty app. It takes forever to load/recognize the machines, it is not intuitive (hit cancel to add or not add 10 minutes, which does not work) and the price is higher (possibly due to the app OR the apartment) making it expensive to do a large load yet the same price for a tiny load. I saved money by buying a mini washer that I keep in the bathtub and then hang dry most of my stuff. Paid for itself in 6 months plus I can do small loads. read more

Several times now I have been overcharged for drying. The dryer price is listed on the machine as 3.75 and instead I have been charged for 8.00 and then 8.00 again right after. In this most recent instance, I've been double charged for this amount as well. There is no reason I should be paying 16.00 for a sub-par drying experience. This was my first time using them so I should've known better than to toss cotton into the drier, but the "low" setting shrunk just about everything that could've done so. Laundry was extremely warm when it came out. My second load was fine I guess but I am now hanging my delicates at home to dry instead of using the machines. Today I went through their website to hopefully get a refund, but it seems like they wont be able to do anything unless I was using the app to run the machines. I live on little to no income and there are times I only have enough money to do one load; wash and dry which is $4.25. This new app "H Wash Mobile App" that is required to use the laundry facilities in my apartment building has a load minimum amount of $10.00. When we used the PayRange App there wasn't a minimum amount one could load, which was a huge convenience when money is tight. Now it's like those of us who don't have that $10 minimum are completely unable to use the facilities which is an included amenity in my complex. They are unwilling to change their "policy regarding the $10 minimum load amount" on their H Wash Mobile App and they are forcing us to use this new bogus app. At least with the PayRange app we could load whatever amount necessary or the amount that was available. This company is discriminating against those of us who don't always have $10 to load when a single load of wash is $2.25 and dry is $2.00. For the actual size of the machines (not commercial), the lack of maintenance and condition of said machines, there are 3 buildings in my complex, 2 of which have a laundry room. 4 washers 4 dryers in each laundry room. There are 30 apartments in each of the 2 buildings that have a laundry room plus 15 apartments in the building without. There are 1 and 2 bedroom units so 8 washers 8 dryers for 75 units roughly 200 people give or take and most are on housing assistance of some sort with children (we all know how kids are) seems as if $4.25 for a basic load is a bit overpriced considering the average incom, the number of people using said machines that dont work properly to begin with and the lack of actual properly working machines. This is causing health issues for myself as I cannot keep my clothing, bedding, linens and towels clean enough as to not cause serious breathing issues, illness and the possibility of being hospitalized and on ventilator due to the inability to properly maintain a healthy environment In my own home. I do not drive and am unable to walk the distance necessary to get to the laundry mat let alone walk that distance while carrying that amount of weight. In 2020 i had a plural effusion and ended up with my right lung being removed due to a massive bacterial infection that caused almost fatal septic infection which has left me with massive difficulty breathing, a super sensitivity to any and all allergens, smoke, dust, dander, micro particles and micro particulates, pollens, etc. We recently experienced the Spokane Complex Fires and the smoke from the 3 massive fires that destroyed over 900 structures increased my breathing issues and because I can't wash my belongings that are absolutely covered in everything that the smoke was created from including hazardous chemicals, heavy metals like lead and plastic particulates my health is rapidly declining as it becomes more difficult to breathe. Breathing isn't an optional thing, it's a requirement to sustain life. No breathing, no living, and dying as I'm being slowly starved of oxygen isn't how I'm gonna leave this earth. My life may not be important to anyone else, but my health and life are important to me. This company unfortunately shouldn't be in operation as they aren't customer oriented. Without customers you'd have no business, the least you could do is not be unaccommodating and greedy and create a successful customer orientated small business and actually run a reputable company rather then look like a slumlord running a dump. read more

This company went into my complex and against management suggestions about severe inconveniences to the tenants they made their washer and dryers online pay only. I emailed them explaining my reasoning behind the inconvenience and they ignored my email. Some of us don't have enough in our accounts especially doing this a week and half before next payday for everyone usually. With all our washer and dryers falling apart all the time and smell constantly the price they charge is outright high way robbery. Some of us aren't made of money and can do online payments. If you are moving to Spokane and looking at Apartments, please ask if they utilize Hainsworth Laundry, and if they do run to a different complex that doesn't use their services. To call them a predatory company would be an understatement. Tiny washers and dryers that are constantly out of service(they also don't put signs up telling you they're out of service), constant price increases, they never clean their washers or dryers, and every option comes with a price increase. If you want 5 minutes extra because their horrible dryer machine didn't adequately dry, that'll be an extra 25 cents. Overall a horrible company, with horrible customer service. I'm not happy with this company. I am a caregiver who cares for someone with no debit card, no cell phone, no access to a computer. I have tried to set up an account to help him to do laundry in his low-income housing site. It's virtually impossible as I can't seem to use payment information for my debit card to access payment at the building where we would do laundry. They do not seem to have anyone there to answer the phone. They want you to use the website to ask questions but they won't give me an account to ask because I don't live in a building where the machine is located. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Machines are constantly broken down and never fully repaired. You have to submit several service request to get an issue resolved or addressed then it takes weeks to send someone out let alone fix the issue. They are not good at following up or following through and I feel like they overpriced the amount they are charging to use broken down dirty washer and dryer that are not properly maintenance. Full price, partial value. Every time I do laundry I am reminded that I am not seen as a real human. Paying roughly $5 per SMALL load, where the soap and softener dispensers have been walled off and they tell you to put it in the tub, just to have your clothes either messed up or with soap spots, because it's not how the machines are made to work, is insulting. Not just insulting but incredibly expensive. I am disabled so can't take laundry to the laundromat all of the time, so I am stuck with this. Missing clothes that smell fresh and feel good. When contacting them about it I was told to use dryer sheets, but I am allergic to them and they don't make clothes soft and clean like normal laundering does. $25 a month just to feel like a piece of sht they happily scrape off of their shoe. read more

I had to rewash almost every load, a couple of them, we didn't fill up a couple of the drivers wouldn't heat up. I contacted them first seeing the following morning. Unfortunately, this is a critical app for living at my apartment complex, University Courtyard, Rexburg, Idaho. It controls and allows residents to use onsite laundry facilities. However, the app is very difficult to use and has no discernable Support options that I have been able to discover. I have lived at the Villa Capri apartment complex since 2013. They use Hainsworth Laundry for the residents. The machines are filthy and NEVER serviced. Every time I do my laundry one of the washing machines does not finish and my clothes are not washed. When I call the company about it, they argue with me saying that their records do not see a problem. So, I end up having to pay again to use another washer. I tell them that it's always the same washer, but it's never fixed. The end result is that they keep my money without providing any service. I'm fed up with this company, which is why I'm writing this review. If you can avoid them, do so at all costs!! read more

Monopolistic thugs, if you're considering a new lease and the landlord is contracted with them, RUN! They will not service the $5-10 rubber gaskets on their dryers that leak the hot air. Which cause loads to often require 2 cycles and makes the hallways in my apartment building unbearably hot in the summer. Another washer can't change water temps. For over a year they have not made these simple inexpensive repairs I could literally do myself if I was allowed. But they've shown up to program price increases twice, resulting in a 40% increase in price/load. I'm disabled and have no choice but to deal with these thieves and thugs. Way over priced. Talk about greedy! It costs me no less than $5 a load and I can't even do a short dryer load of gentles because you pay for 54 minutes whether you need it or not. The one that services the machines I use is out of Boise Idaho. I really don't mind it being 9 minutes per 25 cents (though that's kinda pricy considering it only costs about $8 a MONTH to run a washer and dryer.) But not being able to choose how long I want it to run it straight garbage. This company is so overly greedy it's not even funny. I live in apartment building that uses Hainsworth machines. Their machines are consistently dysfunctional, yet they will not maintain them. I recently had a load in the washer and it stopped mid cycle. So, I had wet, soapy clothes sitting in the washer. I couldn't get the door open. I called them, spoke to the manager, Jackie, and was told I had to wait for a service tech to come out. So, I'm to wait until who knows when to get my wet, soapy clothes out of the washer. She refused to give me the number for the service department. Just before that I spoke to her because a different machine was taking my money but wouldn't work. So, they both got Out of Order signs put on them. Their dryers take an unreasonable amount of money to get the clothes dry. They take your money but do not provide customer service. This is the last time I will try to use their machines, I will go to the laundromat from now on. In response to their not caring about customer service and her patronizing me, here is the honest review. She also tried passing the buck and tried to put it on the apartment manager. I will tell anyone and everyone about them and how they are not to be trusted. This review is based on fact and not just from a disgruntled person. Their laundry machines often break down, at least once a month. The machines also often take money and do not start.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, USE A REGULAR LAUNDRY MAT. The dryer won't work after paying quarters on three separate occasions. Later, I find out the level of maintenance given on these machines. 1. The maintenance man can't get into the laundry room because he forgot to ask management for it to do his work. I let him in. 2. He won't refund me the full amount lost after he explains the dryer didn't work properly because the coin tray is overfilled and resets the amount needed to operate it. (my clothes are growing bacteria because it's late at night and laundry-mats are closed). 3. He refuses to refund all $7.50. He gives me only $4 after he reveals his faults in operating his business management to his job position. (This is psychopathic behavior.) 4. After 7 requests to be fully refunded, the local Hainsworth laundry managers have refused to contact me. In my experience, this laundry service in ineffective and untrustworthy. They have not received any more money in their machines, an estimated $50 a month loss to their possible receivables from this tenent. They refuse to install full size washing machine, a standard to cleanliness. Further, if you call Hainsworth outside regular business hours, their phone service is absolutely poor. On May 2, 2024, I noticed that the recalibrated dryers on the sixth floor to 1 hour (60 minutes) for $1.00. Then, the app said that if an additional 15 minutes were to be added that there would be a $0.25 charge. I reviewed my "History" in the app and confirmed what I knew had been happening: 1. On December 2, 2022, the app charged 50 minutes for $1.00. The app would ask if additional minutes wanted to be added. It would show 10 minutes for $0.00. However, it would charge 5 minutes for $0.25. 2. There would be sporadic times where the app would charge and extra wash load as if I were using three washers instead of two washers simultaneously. 3. When I tested the current additional 15 minutes for $0.25, the app took the money but never added the time. This would mean that every dryer usage, from the beginning of the cycle, were supposed to receive 60 minutes instead of 50 minutes the entire time. I was missing 10 minutes for each dryer usage that equates to approximately $0.20 per dryer usage. I should not be charged $0.25 for 5 minutes when the additional 10 minutes should not be charged although the app charged for those additional 5 minutes. The total amount owed is $115.25 to me for the missing time and money. I have already attached my handwritten assessments of the "History." I will be attaching screenshots from the app. read more

This company used to be good 25 yrs ago! But our dryer ( we only have one ) at my apt. house stops heating from every few days to couple of weeks. They fix it three days later broke again, same issue every single time. They will not replace the dryer. They've fixed it I believe when they answer current service call made on Christmas ( yesterday) it'll be the 5th time "same issue" in a few months 4th time in few weeks, same issue, either repair people are not trained or company just that unconcerned if their machines function. I'm over it. So out of 5 tenants I am now the 2nd one that will not use their appliances going forward, cheaper, faster, easier to just go to the neighborhood laundromat, end up there anyway to dry stuff but not always convenient, because it's a SURPRISE DRYER BROKE AGAIN so easier to plan ahead and do everything at the laundromat in the first place and avoid the angst ! Too bad the Hainsworth Laundry Co. doesn't really care whether it's machines damage washed items or not. Two people that I know of in my apartment building have had items damaged as a result of using one or more of their machines and the company refuses to compensate them. Mine was fine before washing but not so fine afterward because of the holes in the item. Interestingly, in the above message, it says, "Never stop learning, growing and innovating." Stay away from this company. The complex contracts with them. in the year and a half I have lived here. They have raised the rates 2 times and lowered the time. They are a terrible company. After the last time there "serviced" our machines the price went up the time per quarter went down. I suspect they also turned the heat down as what used to take 1 hour to dry now takes 3. Before writing this I gave it one last shot. Ensuring that not only was the lint trap clean I washed it to ensure proper air flow and it took 2 1/2 hours and 3.50 to dry one pair of jeans from out of the washing machine so they were pre-spun. I have since bought a small washing and spinning unit for our apartment. I highly ditching these rip off artists and get one. They cost about a hundred on amazon and will literally pay for itself in the first year and it does a better job washing the cloths as well. read more
