I quickly learned that "Joey" was not in fact a woman, not that it mattered, but I do prefer female stylists. I was duped by a friend so that I would try something new. He was friendly, not overly talkative like some hair dressers can be and turned my misshapen hair into something fairly stylish. He did a thorough job at the shampoo station and took his time to cut my hair. The best part was that a wash and cut was only $15. You can't beat that with a bat! They do take credit cards which I prefer over cash. He also took me as a walk in, which I really appreciated. So yes, Joey worked a little magic on my hair and I would probably let him cut it again. Here, you can expect the use of deva curl products and... innersense(and other stuff too but I didn't care for them like I do innersense) innersense is one of my favorite, cruelty free, small business, awesome curl products.
