When I saw her horrible work in the mirror she got VERY rude, telling me how she had never seen that happen before, it was not her fault and the wax was not too hot at all. OK, even if that was case, don't be nasty about it. I got NO discount even tho it was obvious she screwed up. She waxed a HUGE patch out of the middle of my eyebrow. The shaping was terrible. The person on the phone was not very nice and every question I asked was then asked to someone nearby because she didn't know the answers. Which whatever, I know new people need to be trained, but she seemed annoyed with my questions. The day of my appointment arrived and I entered to find a man behind the counter and absolutely no workers around. My appointment was at 11am and I was pretty early, but when I told him, he went into the back with a cell phone and came back and said, "She's on her way." Finally at about 11:20, the salon's owner, Echo, came in and did not really apologize for my wait, but told me she normally doesn't work Mondays and her other employee called in sick. My manicure was terrible. She accidentally put base coat on over my color as a top coat, making the color underneath not dry, but the top harden. (Later that night, I was able to pull the color straight off my nails and had to redo them myself. The pedicure was better, but the color came off completely about a week later, practically popped off.) At the end of my appointment, she had me put my toes back under the black light and told me, "You probably want to let those stay in there for another three minutes," grabbed her purse, and left. I felt like I was a nuisance to her, which I do not understand. She's running a freaking business; customers are a good thing, especially noticing now how this place has a bad track record for service. Also, I'm not looking for a heart to heart conversation with a stranger when I get my nails done, but she didn't really talk to me except for complaining about her other employees, one who had called in sick, and the other who didn't have her licensing yet to do work. She also complained to me about the man at the front counter who was helping her with the business, which is super unprofessional. I don't need to hear that. I like supporting local businesses, but I will not go back to Echo's.

When I went back to her with concerns of the extensions falling out she told me it was my own hair that was falling out and offered to pick up some Nioxin, L'anzia and some oil for me at the supply house. She quoted me $160.00 but when I got the products they were not what we discussed and she only got me the trial size bottles. She also told me I gave her a $60.00 tip which was absolutely ridiculous to assume. Who tips 60.00 for only products. She is scandolous and threatens people when they complain about her work I have been told. Although she never threatened to beat me up, she has threatened two other clients of hers who reached out to me through a post I made reviewing her on a social media platform. Do yourself a favor and avoid her at all costs. I can't say I know about the other stylists at Maximum Image, but I can speak from experience about Jaicee's work. **also their description is false. I've always been picky about stylists cutting off too much, but she truly listened to what I wanted and trimmed my hair, adding in a couple of layers. She gave me what I asked for initially with the first color, but I pressed her due to my tight schedule and I didn't have time to put in more blonde (to which she gave me her card and encouraged me to come back to do so). Usually I feel awkward or bad asking, but she made me feel comfortable the second I walked in the door. So the same day I called her back and she was more than happy to add in more blonde for me. I'm so in love with my hair, it looks naturally sunkissed and is exactly what I wanted. Definitely coming back!
