We were off to a rough start when they called to ask us to come in fifteen minutes early at noon so we could have a longer consult time. We showed up early, but they didn't actually get to us until after 12:15 because they were working on other clients. Halle asked us about the colors we wanted and then they sent a girl to go buy our color. That was probably the second cue to leave. They didn't actually start on use until 12:40. So we spent 5 full hours there :( I suspected the color wasn't going to be as rich since the rinse, shampoo and conditioning was all done with hot water and there was nothing placed on the hair to seal it. I do wish that someone would have said something then about the blue only being on the bottom two inches of my hair, or the the fact that it was blue and not purple. Halle did my blow dry and when it was all done she turned me to the mirror and explain how it didn't "take". No options given for how to make it better... just a whole lot of explanation. After Halle left for the day, Caitlin did offer have us, because by this time she was to the point where my nieces splotchiness was visible, come back next weekend for a fix. The place was so cute, they do offer drinks and as long as you aren't going to fashion colors- the hair I saw in there looked great. Or take notice of the yelper that did get hers done correctly and ask for Kim. I am getting mine fixed next week somewhere else. I have naturally darker brunette hair so the color has to be gradual, if less damage is to be done. She has brightened it and brought it up to a flawless looking blonde. If you are coming off a horrible experience and need someone that can "fix" your hair, I recommend coming to see Jeannie for a evaluation. She can talk you through the process and what it's going to take to fix it. She has several wonderful hairdressers on hand to finish your color with the prefect cut!! When I say she did a great job, I mean, she was inspecting each one of my toe nails like a jeweler inspecting a diamond. She actually scrubbed the rough spots on my feet and took time to make sure the polish was on perfectly. Even though there were a few people in the shop, I did not once feel rushed or uncomfortable. Plus, one of the employees had her kid there who was seriously one of the cutest freakin kids I've ever seen running around offering me Ritz crackers. They will charge me if I am late but give 15% off if they are late as well. First appt was ok but they were late. I had to wait about 15 or 20 min. The appt for hard gel I had took 3 hours! Yet I was ok. I was trusting them and the process. I made my next 2 appts at that time. The second visit took just as long if not longer. I had plans but was not able to keep them as they were because the appt took so long. I never got the chance to go to the third appt which I made two months prior and had planned right before a vacation. They sent a text the day before asking if it was ok to move my appt to a new tine. I declined because again I had plans for that day. They then sent multiple confusing texts asking me to change my appt time which I didn't understand when they originally asked and I declined. They finally called and confirmed my original appt. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I will never go back and I encourage you to not waste your time or money with this establishment either. Value yourself, your time and your money!
